Nestled in the rolling hills of historic Gettysburg, Granite Hill Camping Resort is rich in history from the Civil War. The battle of America's fateful Civil War took place on the hallowed ground of Gettysburg National Park, a few miles from Granite Hill. The former owner Felix Drais was wounded in the wheat field on July 2, 1863. During General Lee's retreat our very own bank barn was used to shelter wounded soldiers.
There is simply no better campground destination when visiting historic Gettysburg than Granite Hill for its convenient location with incredible history.
