Lake Elmo Park Reserve is a Washington County Park located on the eastern side of the Twin Cities, and is a perfect get-away for all campers and nature lovers.
We offer a variety of camping areas, from the Modern Campground that has 76 sites with electricity that are able to accommodate anything from tents to trailers, to primitive hike-in sites as well as 20 rustic sites in the Equestrian Center and three sites that are ideal for group camping.
You'll never run out of fun things to do at Lake Elmo! Enjoy relaxing on the beach, or cooling off in the water. Take a dip in our sand bottom, filtered swim pond where there's lifeguards on duty. There's an archery range where you can practice your aim, turf trailers for riding your horse, mountain biking, hiking and cross country skiing trails in the winter, and a fishing pier. The kids will love spending time at the playground, and the whole family can gather around the fire at night!
