At Megunticook Campground by the Sea, you will enjoy a spectacular view of the Maine coast from our beautifully landscaped oceanfront gardens.
So that all our guests can enjoy the ocean, our camping sites are set back from the water in a well wooded area. Choose an RV site complete with sewer, city water, 30/50 amp electric and cable TV or set up on our of our rustic tent sites. For those who prefer not to rough it, we also offer basic log cabins which can comfortably sleep up to four adults, and include electricity inside, water outside, a bunk and double bed.
Our a newly renovated bathhouse and modern laundry are all maintained and spotlessly clean. Enjoy our heated swimming pool, clubhouse with free WiFi and camp store with a full line of camping and RV supplies! Kids will love our playground and game room, and the whole family can enjoy our large sports field where you can often join in a pickup game of soccer or softball. There is also a sand volleyball court, Cedarworks playground set, and horseshoes. You won't want to miss our popular lobster bake held every Saturday evening in season down at the oceanfront. We cook up and serve fresh Maine lobster and Maine clams, along with all the fixings.
Just three miles south of Camden Harbour, there's plenty to do! Explore the harbour towns, rocky beaches and remote islands. If you're looking for adventure you can hike along the mountain trails, sail or paddle Penobscot Bay, or fish from lake or ocean waters. You will discover for yourself why our area is called the Jewel of Maine Coast.
Whether you are here for an overnight stay on your way up the coast, or for your summer camping get away, you will enjoy exceptional facilities in a quiet, wooded setting by the Ocean.
