Reviews for 49er RV Ranch

| Nice but small

We had to disconnect our towed to get through part if historic Columbia but it wasn't an issue as all the sites are back in. We had good water and power in addition to sewer. They offer some social evening events. I only wish I could walk my dog farther. They do have a small fenced in dig park which is a bit small for my large dog. I am just glad they have recycling available.

We picked this place off the internet and we loved it. The great thing is that they provide two spotters to help you land your rig. They also say they will valet park it too. We were there off season with plenty of open sites, but they fill up in the summer. We ran out of propane on a cold night and although we waited until 8am when we saw staff, they said we could have called any time of the night and they would have gladly filled our tanks. So accommodating and friendly. We took day trips which included Calavaras Big Trees park and Sonora. We would return.

This was our first trip to the 49ers Ranch. The staff was super helpful and went the extra mile to help and be friendly. The ranch had and old west charm that wasn't lost on us. The park was super clean and had access to trash cans. The court overnight spots had about 12 spots and it made it great with the kids to ride their bikes or play other games without worrying. If there was any down side it was the road noise we had at spot 51 that took away what felt like rural location. Outside of that my son was a little disappointed in the gold panning but for a short walk down the road in Columbia you could do plenty of gold panning. We will certainly come back again.

We have been staying here twice a year at a minimum for 6 years. By far the campground is one of the best. I am a member of the Sonora Elks and Ebbets Pass Moose. Coffee every morning and free hotdogs every Friday. Love this campground.

Super cute place, amazing customer service. Looks like a sweet little village from another time. They really took care of us! Donation based hot dog night and am coffee. Wish the dog run area was a bit bigger, and be prepared for some backing up and possible tight turns, but still five stars!

Very nice park, close to many small towns. Laundry was clean and park was well organized. Con: not much area to walk your dog as park is small and on a busy road.

This first night in an RV park was perfect. Very friendly staff. Next to a village from the 1850's. Very nice. Full hookup, and fast internet. Wish we could have stayed a day longer.
