For a no frills park, this it. Cheap and well spaced sites. City owned, but privatly managed. Great camp hosts. This the 4th winter that I have spent here. Does have some oil related workers staying here, about 5-6, no problem. Very quiet and on a dead end road.
We stay there regularly and recommended highly. Park is full of Oak trees. Gravel roads and sites. Good food in the area and a central location to see Jefferson Island and the Tabasco Factory.
Stayed here recently during Omelette Festival and enjoyed the quietness, and beauty of this park near downtown but readily accessible via a deadend road. Hosts are great folks and we look forward to returning.
Wonderful park and driving distance to all things Cajun! We spent 3 nights and will be back to stay longer. Level gravel sites and lots of shade trees. Best of all it's big rig friendly! Staff was very courteous and helpful with the local attractions.
A quiet and beautiful hidden gem!!! Our first trip in our motor home and it was great!! Ms. Mae was so sweet and helpful. We can't wait to go back for a longer stay.
