| Dog unfriendly

Don't bother checking this campground out if you plan on taking your dog that may be a chow, Doberman, pitbull, Rottweiler etc... they are not allowed!

| Never will go there again

I made reservations for this park for 4 days. Not once did I see park employees. We had problems with the site they left for us. The electrical pole had been ran over and the was in the middle of a giant puddle of water. The park left a extension cord that was about 50 feet long running thru someone else campsite. We did not feel safe staying on that site. There was a lot of empty sites yet they put in a dangerous situation. So we moved to another site on our own. I had talked to someone on the phone when I made the reservation if the WiFi was dependable since I was in college and needed to do my homework online and submit it back to my college. I was told it was very dependable. Once we got there, I only had WiFi for about an hour in 4 days. Talked with other campers about WiFi and they had problems too. A note on the office door stated if you need to use WiFi and it was not working at the campers to come to office to use it there. We was there to Washington DC and the office was closed by the time we returned. I had to go to a local library to use the WiFi there. We called a left messages about the WiFi but never got a returned call. We are coming back to the DC area this fall and will stay at another campground that is more expensive.

| Large site, nice staff, way overpriced

By user-5890788... on 2018-06-27.

We were given a choice of 3 sites to try to get satellite. None worked. There are a few 50amp that may get satellite, but they were taken. The antenna picked up both baltimore and dc, so we were ok. Our site was huge, neighbors friendly. The pool and laundry was clean. There was staff running around in golf carts. Nice walking area. Now the bad....restrooms and snack bars electric is by commercial rented generators. Looks bad and constant noise. Site is pea gravel and not level. Our front tire is several inches off the ground. Extremely overpriced at $66 weekends/ $61 weekday. Close to family, but we will drive farther next time.

Although the park was clean, this was our SECOND adventure bound camping trip that left us feeling unhappy. First at their DC location and then here. Dirty laundry room with no change machine and no ATM in the office. The sites are tiny and we were given no warning with our 40ft coach that you are literally inches from the trees. Do not go here with more than 36ft. Bring water extension and electrical extension cords. Too expensive and NOT up to par. I would not recommend with so many other choices out there.

| Tight spaces but nice

The pads are small and very close together. Your fire ring and picnic table are right next to your neighbor's sewer line. Bath houses are older and need minor repairs but are clean and functional. Otherwise the place is nice and clean and the staff is great.

| Gteat place to stay!

We ended up staying here 2 weeks as our tow car got stolen on DC. The staff was so kind & helpful..even gave us a rebate weekly rate when we had to stay longer. There was a shuttle available which was a better option instead of parking at a metro station & all kinds of of fun amenities for kids. The park was well kept & beautiful. The owner went out of her way to help us when our car got stolen.

You can rent an entire house for the price of a site to park your rv. Not clean. Hardly any staff. Scary area.

| Great long term

This campground is perfect for the full timers. It is a little pricey but DC is right down the road. If you travel and work this is the spot. Alan and his staff really put forth the effort to make your stay comfortable. Plus, they let you wash your camper, work on your vehicle, whatever needs to be done. Just keep your site clean.

| Cabins

Cabin was dated and dark. Had ceiling fans with lights but were not bright. Cabin porch had broken decking and posts stairs were broken and hard to step up on due to uneven ground. Showers were modern but not cleaned the best. Office closed early everyday. Campsites were cramped andsewer connection was on your side with picnic table. It was quiet and location wasgreat. Probably will not stay again
