Great one night stay

Great for one nighter. FHU, 30 or 50amp, level, well-lit, gravel lots. We had enough space to open awning and had a grass area. Big open field behind us for walking pups. Easy on and off of I-40..about 5 miles off interstate. Quick and efficient check in. Easy walk to Farmers Market. Lots of shopping and restaurants in the area. No concert or fair in progress, so very quiet. Did not use restrooms...they were up at Farmer's Market building, but appeared to be private, individual facilities...had to use code to enter. We would use this park again. We camped in a 5th wheel.

If there's nowhere else to stay and you're just coming for the night this place would do we drove in and drove right back out there's not a tree in sight it's kind of like parking it at Walmart parking lot

Mostly a Large Parking Lot - 50amp site $30

Few trees. Some grass. All pull throughs, just wide enough to park and open your awning. 50 amp sites are supposed to be reservation only.
Pet friendly and near the Shelby Farms Dog Park, a great place to let your dog run and play and swim. Good area. Next to event center.

Wouldn't recommend; spots are entirely too close; unable to extend canopy; concerts going on until after midnight so no sleeping; I would stay in an emergency. Only plus is its location to numerous things....

Great location for everything Memphis

Stayed for one month while working in the area. Spots are close together but they will work with you if you feel the need for more space and it is available. There are some later events but we never heard them past midnight. The park is part of an expo and agricultural center where events happen. There was a wonderful lantern festival going on during our stay. Shelby Farms Park is adjacent and has tons of outdoor activities for all to enjoy. There is also a farmers market right outside your door open Monday thru Saturday.

This is an awesome No-Frills place to stay. The people are very accommodating and very nice. They have a decent laundry facility. They have miles and miles of bike paths and places to walk your dog. They are part of Shelby Farms and near a lake were you can kayak. They're also close to a giant dog park. There's plenty of options to eat and shop close by with easy access to the interstates. We love staying here. They have a farmers market that is absolutely incredible.

Tight spots

We stayed here two days while visiting friends. Very friendly camp host. Spaces are very tight! Full hookups. Felt safe this close to Memphis. Ok for a few nights.

No Fair!

I bet this place is okay when the fair is out of town, but when it is, you get a booming bass from some band that can't hold a tune, helicopters buzzing, and are fenced out of the bathroom/laundry facilities. And it's crawling with people--No security gate, nothing. The Shelby Farms Park facilities are vast and wonderful, but that does not help this Labor Day Weekend madness.
