Surprised with airport, highway and EMS substation that it was generally so quiet. Lots of permanent people there. Free laundry was nice.
We pulled in from out of state. The owner just purchased the park. He is in the process of making improvements. Rates are very reasonable for a week stay. We have a 40 foot, 4 slides motorhome and the site was large. Our site had a covered picnic table with electric outlets. We will stay here again. Owner is extremely nice.
I called the number listed here while driving, and made a reservation for that night. When I arrived, the owner, David, told me the number had been sold by the previous owner to a different RV park some miles away. I called them and cancelled my reservation, and they didn't charge my credit card, thankfully. This is where I wanted to stay, because it is so convenient to I-20, and is clean and well tended.
