Crouded
By user-5408879... on 2017-10-23.
Very small sites for a state park. Also for walk in sites check out is 1 and check in isnt until 4pm. I have been to a bunch of state parks and never encountered this. When calling to inquire about sites the rangera were very rude as was the host when we arrived.

Nice, but train noise
By user-5865048... on 2017-10-23.
Very nice park, some sites are more spacious than others, nicely shaded, clean bathrooms and hot showers. A surprise playground up near the bathroom. A path to local trails. The only real downside was frequent trains, not only horn noise, but the cars on the tracks as well. However I imagine the train is a battle with all the campgrounds along the Columbia River.

Lovely Place
By user-5914750... on 2017-10-23.
We're return RVers to this campground. It's nice and peaceful here!! I'd forgotten about the train, but it's not bothersome. Each spot is shaded and comfortable. Love the full hookups at a state park!!

Very nice Clean Campground with nice pull thru sites. Sites are separated nicely. It is very forested but roomy enough for the big rig pulling a car.
We would definitely recommend to others. No Train horn here...just A slight rumble down the hill.

Nice Clean State Park CG

Clean restrooms and showers. The first 10 spots (A1-9or10) are on a steep hillside and not completely level. The lower loop sites are level and flat. There is a train and interstate nearby so if the noise bothers you stay somewhere else. We stayed one night and no problem. The access is a little tight for rigs over 30 ft but doable.

Full hook ups, showers and nice bathrooms. A little tight for my 38 ft 5er, but made it through the loop.

Don't miss the turn!
By user-unknown on 2019-08-09.
Be very careful not to miss the left hand turn into the camping area. Once past it, there is no place to turn around and the road is narrow, curvy and built for Model T's. You can eventually get off, but it is not a fun trip! This is part of the Old Columbia River Highway.
