| A place to park for one night

This is very convenient to I-40. It is just a place to park your RV overnight. There is no shower facility at all. If you need a bathroom it is in the store which is open 7 am to 8pm only. The staff is very nice , allowed us to borrow a 50 amp to 30 amp converter, which we really appreciated . There is not much to choose from in this area, so realize it is a convenient place , but has no frills. However for $18 and full hookups , it worked ok for one night.

What a quaint little place to park for the night. A blast from the past on Route 66. THANKS Dixie! Pam and Ron

Easy in and out...$18...FHU. Windy hilltop, no shade. Check in at Conoco/Post Office. Delightful lady there. No wifi or cable...maybe air tv...we didn't try. No restrooms. If all you need is hookups and a safe place for the night...this is it!

| NICE QUIET OVERNIGHT

Just a few spots on a grassy hill top. All have full facilities but only 50 amp service. But the folks are quite friendly and loaned me an adapter for my 30 amp RV. They have a very eclectic general store that's fun to look thru and grab some ice cream. Absolutely nothing around there so it's a great break from I-40. Quiet dark night..

Happy little place. Flat pull through sites with hook ups. Cute post office/store/gift shop. Motel and signage painted with cowboys, cowgirls, buffalo, ect. See to the horizon in two directions and the stars are bright at night. Quiet and beautiful.

Traveling through and this place was easy to pull in and hook up. You can't beat the price of $18. The small privacy fence they have, offered some shade as there were no trees. Take time to meet Dixie who owns the Conoco and Motel/RV park. Her husband is a descendant of Davy Crockett. The store offers interesting items. Across the street is another RV park and you could hear the owners dogs. At least they weren't in this park .

| Perfect for a night

For an overnight stop, this is perfect. Quiet, full hook ups, decent view, under $20. Be aware there is no 30 amp service, only 50 and 20. Very pleased for the convenience and the price!

The grass was cut, it was reasonably quite and there were only two others, likely long term residents. The $18 price was about right with 50 amp service. No Wireless but great Verizon 4G.

This park's website advertises a discount if you fill up at their Conoco, but they refused to honor it and their gas sign advertised gas $0.05 cheaper than they charged at the pump. If you can't drive another 50-60 miles in either direction to find another spot, the $18 charge is worth having electric, water and sewer hookup, but get your gas before you arrive because they were charging $0.20 to $0.22 more than the west bound stations on I-40 at McLean, five miles before we reached Alanreed. The spots were flat enough to get level and it was quiet enough to get much needed rest, but I wouldn't go there for any other reason than getting from one side of the Texas panhandle to the other.

Simple but full hookups. Sewers are full of flying bugs so there is definitely a problem there.
