| It's your standard KOA
It's a KOA... they are somewhat consistent, although this one is bigger than a lot of them. Gravel sites and driveways. The facilities are well maintained. As with all KOAs you expect to pay for any extras... such as parking for visitor cars or recreation equipment. Pull through sites are long enough to leave towed vehicle attached. I found the WiFi signal to be strong but the connection is slow, probably because the park is almost full.WiFi is free with service provided by Tengonet. We paid $35 for pull through with full hookups. This a kid friendly place with playground, mini golf and a swimming pool. Note: there is some nearby highway noise... not bad, and a railroad that we heard a few trains go by over the course of the night. We did not find the noise objectionable, but then, I like trains!
| It gets a pass
This was our first KOA. The spaces were wide and graveled. The front office staff and support staff were very friendly and helpful. The bathrooms were old but clean. There was a fair amount of dust from the gravel roads. You could hear the highway, but it was tolerable. We heard one train. All hookups worked fine. The black bird were nesting and were aggressive. We are staying in another KOA tonight and based on the comparison I gave Corvallis KOA a passing grade of 3, since our new one is a 5.
| Typical KOA
Over the weekend park filled up with a lot kids, the internet stopped working. At one point on Saturday the water turned brown. North end of park had a lot of road noise but south end was much quieter. Overall it was clean, roomy spots. Our spot had big mature trees.
