We live not to far, so we try to get here as much as possible. Maybe we are kind of partial. Ha ha There is an abundance of hiking and biking, fishing, rent a boat, swim at the beach. Eat at the restaurant above the main office. There is a camp store by the red house campsites, stoked pretty well. Also have fire wood there. The Quaker camp ground is a lot more remote, no cell phone coverage, but all the bathrooms are brand new. Currently there is a brand new bath house being built at that side of the park. Plenty of wild life to watch. Beware of bears though, don't leave food out!
We rate this campsite #1 in the State, maybe even the country! Sites have ample space and privacy! Especially now with the leaves on the trees. Bathrooms are closely and clean. There is a camp store, also fire wood is for sale there. The beach is just a short walk or bike ride away! You can rent boats there too! Bike paths galore, so bring your bikes!!!! Fishing and hiking and and and.... To much to list! Come check it out yourself! You won,t regret it!
