The camp ground is really beautiful and well kept. The sites are really close. There is a kids camp behind the RV park. Kids hitting golf balls in the direction of the camp ground. Was reported to camp and RV park owner so hopefully problem resolved. Barry, owner, very nice and helpful. The "river" quite peaceful! We were in a 31" motor home. Thank you Along the River!
We enjoyed our one night stay here over Spring Break. The grounds are clean and the property allows for easy access in even the largest of rigs. We stayed in site 13, backed right up to the river. Owners or hosts were unavailable during our stay which was fine, we made ourselves at home, but they did show up to collect payment and were friendly and willing to help. It's a quiet place, the traffic from the nearby intersection wasn't overwhelming at all. We will return this summer!
Stayed for three relaxing and wonderful days ! The owners were very kind and helpful !! The park was very clean ! I highly recommend this park !!
My wife and I stayed here with another couple. Took the motorcycles on some great rides there. The owners were beyond nice. They really made our stay great. Camped right by the river. Not a whole lot for kids to do around there unless they enjoy hiking or the river. I would stay there again..
I rarely give five stars but this place deserves it. Barry n Donna were extremely attentive. Our friends have been there several times but this was our first time there. We have been to several sites in the area. We don't like to go to the the same site twice but this would be a place we will return to. Downfall? Not much to do on site and the playground was not taken care of. The spots are tight but Barry helps back you in and levels you in one shot. We camped here in a travel trailer.
Along the River is an awesome RV site. Barry and Donna are always attentive, stopping by to ensure all is well. Barry even walked us into our spot and helped level. Couldn't ask for a more wonderful experience, in a valley under trees and next to a river. Thanks Barry and Donna, a definate favorite. Rob and Dani Guile.
We have come in the winter and summer. It's always a pleasant stay. No satelite reception on our site (close to trees), no cable, WiFi wasn't working. If you bring your own wood, there's a $5 pit fee or you can buy their wood for $7. A little nickel n dimeing with this and credit card fee but not too bad.
