We stay here often when we visit the the grandkids. We always enjoy the stay. Satellite-friendly park with great hosts.
Great Campground! Clean and very neat. Great customer service. I would give this place a 5 star.
The Good: Good satellite reception. Good Internet Level Sites Seems to be nice folks. The not so Good: The sites are close together, no problem with slide outs, but your only view is other RVs/trailers. It's a long way from I-70, with no reward of scenery at the end. There is nothing here, although you are given a list of stores and shops, basically you're surrounded by farmland. And speaking of lists, you are given a list of 'rules' upon check in. Now, all of these rules are common sense, but a list? And they're very clear on their 'no refund' policy. It just seems like these folks cleared their yard, installed hookups, and it's all about maximizing income. And no discounts of ANY kind. $40 for an overnight stay for a 10 foot wide piece of gravel seems high to me. If I were to pass this way again, I would stay elsewhere.
Poor customer service. Have been traveling over 4 months to more than 50 rv parks and this was the first one to turn me away because I have a restored 1975 airstream. Every park has the same rule and i've received compliments everywhere i've been, never been turned away, but this was the first to enforce the rule. When I offered to email them pictures of how it looked and show its great condition I was told it didn't matter. When I explained that I was a recently separated military veteran just trying to move back to my hometown of Columbus and find new career they told me they didn't care. The RV/Camper community is full of great people and businesses. This is not one of them. Support another business.
This Park is great if you have business in the area. Probably not a long term park. Sites are narrow and gravel with room for slides. West side sites are flat. East are up hill, so park at the bottom as it is sort of flat. We would stay here again.
Small RV Park, well groomed and very clean. Opened year round, with heat strips on the water hookups for winter water. Mostly back-ins but there are some pull-thru. Very nice owner who guided us to our site. Free wi-fi, good cell service. The park is close to Columbus.
Quiet, safe, family run, friendly. Camp hosts take pride in a neat/clean park. They went out of their way to help me park, help me hook up. Even loaned me some equipment to get me set up with my electric. That counts as "going the extra mile." This is not one of those fancy resort/destination parks. It is a nice place to park for a while.
We stayed here while visiting family in Clintonville and options are limited in April near Columbus. I was disappointed to find out that there is a lot of road noise all night. Also, the spots are very close to each other & the bath/shower room was not very nice with lots of spider webs. On the plus side, the owners were nice & we got a lot of TV stations. Kind of expensive for what you get.
Very friendly. Nothing fancy, but more than adequate for our stay. We would definitely stay here again.
