Quick, easy parking in the MH pull thru, escort to site. Took limo to Big Texan for dinner, picked up and dropped at our door. Couldn't find/connect with wifi, other than that, good stop over . $35 with Good Sam.
We arrived just when the office closed, but they kindly opened back up for us and even drove us to our spot. Heated indoor pool, free shuttles to the Free* 72 ounce steak place. Dog friendly. Good overnight. There is a drive through a residential neighborhood to get here that had me wondering if I had the correct GPS coordinates. Also it's next door to a small waterpark.
Friendly people, clean bathrooms, swimming pool felt great and Hottub felt better. Would stay there again!
I have been full timing for a year now. I have seen many. It's ok. The pool is inside and spacious but tiles are broken. I like to walk. The sidewalks are tilted and dumpsters block the path over and over again. I think this park once was beautiful but it needs some love.
Stayed in this park two different nights, going west and east bound on I 40. The first time, they had a water line break so no water and no discount either but it was working in a couple of hours. Pull through sites are big but not completely level. 2nd time the shower drain was stopped up with hair and flooded most of the women's bathroom. When I finally realized what was happening, I pulled back the mat and scraped the hair off with my razor. My hubby said the same thing happened in the men's room. There's only two community sinks but 4 showers with a dressing area. I'm glad I was the only one taking a shower. The couple running the place are very nice and friendly. We got a vet discount the 2nd time but not the 1st time. Have an Airstream and would stay there again.

Convenient location. Very clean. Playground and indoor pool. Free limo rides to The Big Texan. Plenty of space for big rigs. No shade but it is the Texas panhandle so. . .
Marcia (phone/front desk) was delightful! Pull thru site was nice and level. Loved the Longhorn Limo ride to the Big Texan Steakhouse! Only stayed 1 night, and didn't use all of amenities, but would definitely return when in the area again.
Said had cable when got to park was not told had to have cable box for each tv as you all know this is not easy to wire in. Also only place WiFi works is at office again pain. If I had know when made Rev would have choose different park.

Stayed one night traveling cross country. Lots of spaces but not every one has shade. Loved the pool and hot tub. Staff was efficient and pleasant. Grounds were clean. Wi fi wasn't working and could be a problem if you need it. Very nice campground. Take advantage of the free limo ride to the Big Texan for a steak dinner.

This gravel pit... Was a big disappointment!!! We didn't stay, we pulled in and the folks were rude... We also saw the pit were we would camp, cause all the concrete pad are for fulltime...
When we checked in we were told there were many television channels. We were given a sheet for Air/Antenna scanning. No mention of cable. After trying to scan and finding only a few channels, we gave up. The next morning we asked about why such poor reception??? The office informed us that to use cable, we would have to set it up with a cable box that attaches with several plugs and cords (complicated) to use cable. So if you want to watch 'many channels in your TV in your RV, then don't stay here or call your Cable Guy for instructions on how to hook up! lol We enjoy relaxing at night after dinner and early morning by watching television so we would NEVER stay here again. Too bad the resort wasn't up front with us at check in. When I asked why? Their answer was that sometimes they just get busy and forget to tell people everything.
Easy check-in, even without a reservation. Warm, friendly desk & escort to site. Site not quite level. Bathroom very nice. 3 showers, 3 toilets, 2 sinks. Quite a bit of traffic noise, (my RV is older & probably not as well insulated). I thought the price, $37, was a bit high, but for that price every site should have an easy connect to the wifi. I was next to the office & couldn't connect.
Stopped for a night. Didn't want to unhook to go to dinner and chose this location for the free limo ride to The Big Texan for dinner. Favorite part is having a fenced area for the dog. He was happy to be free in the yard! Prices are great!
People was amazingly nice and helpful. Went out of their way to help us. Bath rooms and showers are very clean. You get a free limo to the big Texan stake house. The pool is heated the jacuzzi was clean. Cable TV all for 30 something a night. Can't beat this place. Loved it.
Very clean. Pool and spa felt wonderful and well maintained. The pet park was a nice treat for the boys. All in all we will stay there again.
Came in late and our information was waiting for us. Site was level and all hookups worked well. Amenities block was clean and functional. would stay here again.
My husband and I stayed here for two nights, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We arrived just as the office was closing, and they stayed open for us to fill out paperwork and took us to our site. Most of the spots were spacious pull throughs, with the back ins occupied by mostly long term stays. Wifi was very slow, but it may have been our location. Cable was great, as was power and water pressure. The indoor pool and hot tub were amazing! We took the limo shuttle to the Big Texan restaurant, and had a great time. There were lots of places to walk our dog, as well as two small fenced runs to let him off leash. Aside from the Big Texan, there were also many other dining and shopping options nearby or within a 15 minute drive.
My husband and I stayed here last year and really enjoyed it. We came back this year and found that the wifi now only works in the office, and that to use cable you have to rent a box from them, which they don't rent to short term visitors. Having the pool and dog walks available was great, but if we hadn't had plans to go to the Big Texan for dinner using their shuttle service, we might have stayed somewhere else. Sorry to see these changes.

For us we like to go and stay a while. You CANNOT set up a dog pin and if visitors can not use the pool with you. (Which stays empty). We came here to visit family, family can visit but not use the pool. These kind of things put a bad start to a stay. We stay at plenty of parks and to have to tell family that the park doesn't allow these things -well we just didn't have visitors.
My daughter got super high fever and sick on the way. When we needed to stop and get her help and we wouldn’t be able to make Amarillo I called to inform them. It was midnight and their was no voicemail set up. Tried to call again this morning the manager Bill said “you didn’t give us 24hr notice we just ran your card.” I made the reservation early that evening first gal I talked to was super nice. Explained a lot BUT never informed us of their policy. This morning when I called back in again the older gal and Bill were saying I didn’t communicate with them so they ran the card even after I offered to send the a screen shot of my call log to prove I tried to let them know as soon as we knew. Moral of the story don’t make reservation with them if you have young kids, they seem not to care about anything but getting their money.
Lots of room for each camper and lots of slots. Unfortunately, quite often full during the summer. Can hear air port traffic in early evening and some highway noise all night long. Inside the camper, the noise is not a problem. Easy in and out with lots of room for big rigs. Friendly folks. We stay one night at a time going to and from Dallas. Close to your free 72oz steak. Each lot we have used was dead on flat. Several trees but not much shade. Office is only open from 8am to 8pm. Everything has been clean each time we have been there. This is now the only place we stay in Amarillo.
Clean and well managed place just off the highway. Some traffic noise but we had a quiet and comfortable night's sleep. $37 for a pull though site with water & elec.
This is a large parking area with the sites just kind of here and there. There doesn't seem to be an order to them but they were level and we had room to put the awning out. Bathrooms and showers were coded and spotless with a large room for each shower stall. Fenced in dog walk area. Swimming pool Coffee an donuts in the mornings. Office has nice sitting area and small gift shop. We visited the RV Museum while we were in town and also took some short drives along route 66 to Vega TX, Adrian TX (midpoint of route 66) and stopped at the Cadillac ranch. We also had supper at the Big Texan Steak House.
We only stayed one night so didn't totally rig down, but the place was a great place to stop. Very open with easy in and out. Also very well maintained.
This is a nice stop over park, limousine picked us up and took us to the Big Texan Steak Ranch for a great steak . Staff was very nice. Wifi worked great.
Park is Gay Friendly! We stopped overnight here and was easy to get in and out. Clean restrooms but the hot tub was closed when we stopped over. Was a bit pricy.
We only stayed 1 night but we pulled in early and set up with no problem. Escorted to our site, no shade but we didn't expect any. They ask if you want a cable box, no charge for it and the hook up was simple. Nice dig run and the pool is enclosed and a very nice temperature. Staff was friendly and helpful and coffee and doughnuts in the morning.
Large, well kept park. Very friendly and helpful staff. Our spot was a long pull thru. The length was generous but the width, a bit narrow. Odd hours for the pool and hot tub. Both closed at 6p. Enjoyed the free limo ride to the Big Texan Steak house. Excellent food. Overall an excellent park. Will definitely return.

Where here for one night but would definitely stayed here longer if it were possible. Best welcome we've had on our entire trip. Very nice people and the hospitality is unmatched. The RV sites are nice, clean and the staff is willing to help you with everything. Hourly limousines to the steakhouse is awesome.
This place is pretty nice... really nothing wrong with it. The people are friendly, escorted parking, good WiFi, wide spaces, doggie area, great water pressure, etc. Wish we could stay longer!
Not sure what people like about this place. It's OK for a 1 night stay, a little pricy but OK. WIFI sucks! Bathrooms were very clean and staff was friendly.
I stayed here for a week while checking out the area. The staff here is fantastic, I enjoyed them all. Melody and Rick were especially helpful and I'm thankful for them both. The showers are clean and provide a small changing area in each shower area. The site I was in was mostly level, but the site was easy to access and a reasonable size. I do wish I would have had a tree, the shade would have been nice in over 90 degrees of heat. The laundry prices were more than I've seen in a while, but the laundry area was clean and efficient. The location of this park is great, you are not much more than 15 minuets from the downtown area and even closer for restaurants. You have to check out the Big Texan steakhouse, it's a hoot plus they have a free limo (bonus). If I'm in the area again I'll stay here.

Great place, friendly staff, & nice neighbors. The pool was great, not crowded at all which was crazy since the park was packed. Nice, clean bathrooms. Didn't check out the laundry. If we head through Amarillo again we'll definitely stay here. Oh & the kids also loved the playground.
Our navigator sent us across the street but we found the park easily after a glance across the street. The staff was friendly and helpful, both on the phone and in person. It’s an older park but well maintained, although the pool is being filled in. Lots of trees, grass, and evidence of excellent lawn maintenance. Spot was easy in with all the right hookups. Bathrooms were clean, even if old, and the shower was plenty roomy. All in all, a nice stay.
Staff very helpful and very friendly. Large level slots with trees for shade. Bathrooms were air conditioned clean spacious individual stalls with removable shower heads. Plenty hot water with great water pressure. Limousine to Big Texas Steak. Food was ok but the atmosphere had something for old and young alike.
Had an awesome time. Sites level and clean. Staff is super friendly and helpful in getting to site and set up. Love the indoor heated pool. Laundry facilities were great fast and clean. Will stay again if ever back this way.
We stopped here on our way from New Mexico to Houston for one night. The place was clean, level, and quiet. Hook ups worked well and we didn't even have to unhook for the night since they had a car service to a restaurant. Wifi was actually pretty good which was rare during our trip.
This park has it all. Spacious sites, level spaces, clean restrooms and great showers with good water pressure. Enjoyed the dog park to allow our dog to run and play after a long drive. Very fair price, plus received discount with Good Sams card. Were overnight only and we re not able to use other amenities. Recommend highly. Charles and Rita Crystal Beach? TX
Only stayed overnight but they were very efficient getting rigs parked. Did not use the amenities but the pool looked very inviting. The only thing I did not like was in order to use their cable you had to get a decoder from the office and it s kind of a pain to install, so ask for the box before you go to your site. If you to go to the Big Texan you need to make reservations for the limo at the office. Would definitely stop again.
Pull-thru sites were extra long, level and wide!, included grass and a picnic table. At $195 for the weekly rate, a great bargain with close proximity to town, shopping, Pali Duro Canyon and, of course, the Big Texan! Park even provides limo service to the restaurant!! WiFi was just okay, laundry facilities were clean and efficient. Indoor pool was fabulous! Biggest downfall was the highway noise. Staff was friendly and always helpful.

Staff friendly bit run down same owners as big Texan manager greedy not helpful food at big Texan overpriced and poor quality. There is a lot better park west of town on i40.
Stayed for about a week as we were passing though. I would highly recommend. I am a travel nurse and would also recommend this place if you are taking a 13 week assignment. Clean, great hospitality, laundry on site, indoor pool, kids play ground, indoor pool, complimentary daily coffee and dounuts, complimentary ( I believe) transportation to the famous steak house in an old school limo ( RV Park and steak house owned by same family). Sites leveled with full hook ups. ( we stayed in late August so this is a late review)

The park is a mix of long term residents and a section of sites for the short term RVers. Our site was pull through, gravel and just long enough for our rig and tow vehicle. The park is an easy on and off of I-40 and good for visiting the area or for an overnight stop. We did not check out the amenities, but can confirm that the wifi worked reasonably well. We would stay here again when in the area. We rate this park a 4 out of 5 for the convenience and the price.
We only stayed one night, nice level spot. Big adventure was the limo ride to the Big Texan Steak house! If you stay here you really should eat there, it's more than a restaurant.
The staff was amazing, we made reservations and had to bump them one day, and there was no trouble. The staff that greeted up was so kind and pleasant. It s obviously a busy place. Accommodations were great, everything was clean! Very happy with our stay!!!

Super nice folks running it. Gravel pads , very level and kept up. Interstate work has three exits closed for another year plus. But fairly easy to get to. Did not check out bath rooms .
Stayed one night passing through. Big level gravel sites. Lots of cable channels. Good Wi-Fi. Nice bathrooms with big private changing rooms and showers, but no curtain to keep water in the shower and out of the changing room. Also in the summer, indoor bathrooms in the Texas panhandle need air-conditioning. You re a couple hundred feet from I-40 so it s noisy.
We called several hours prior to closing time. Left message as per instructions. No one returned call and recording could have stated they were full. We drove in. Got there at 8:01, man locks door and pulls shades. Very rude when he did come out and I asked about staying overnight.
Basic rv park. Only stayed one night amd didi not use any facilities.
The staff is pleasant and helpful. The pool and hot tub are nice. WiFi and cable work well but paid over $200 for a week in a gravel lot. The outdoor concert made as much noise as the highway. Won't be back no matter how nice the staff and clubhouse is.
I called the evening of 7/16 and made a reservation for the night of 7/17. The lady I spoke to said my card would not be charged until I checked in, and never said anything about a "cancellation" policy. The next morning at approx 7:30 (7/17), my wife called the RV park and explained to them that we were having mechanical issues with our RV, and that our dealer that had sold us the RV suggested that we get home asap and they would get everything repaired. The lady at the park then told us that they would still charge us for the reservation (since we were cancelling within 24 hrs of our reservation). I told her that no-one mentioned that there would be any cancellation fee if we could not make it. She said that when my wife called and made the reservation she was told of the cancellation fees - too bad that the lady at the campground didn't know that I was the one who called and made the reservation (and as I said, NO-ONE mentioned any cancellation fee when I made the reservation). Just goes to show that she lied - I'm disputing the charges. I highly recommend that everyone beware of this rip-off tactic.
A great welcome and level sites. The steakhouse shuttle is ideal after a long days drive. They pick up and drop off at your site. The food is good for a busy restaurant.
