Great location for driving Avenue of the Giants. It is a really nice park. It is privately owned and the people are so nice. They have a great gift shop and a little store. We paid $37.20 a night.
Fabulous, fabulous, fabulous. This is an amazing rv park. We are full timers and camp everywhere around the country. This is one of the best! Everything about the park is fantastic. So very clean. Just everywhere. Nice place to clean up your rig after being in a state park. You pay the state 45 dollars for a piece of dirt with Campfires all around so much you can't even breathe. Here you get paved pads, with nice lawns. You are right next to Humboldt Redwoods state park and the Avenue of the Giants so you have plenty to see and do. There is a beautiful stream and paths right around the immortal tree. The campsites are well laid out and you can pick your site so it is really nice. The owners are so nice. Really one of the nicest parks we have ever been in. The have excellent wifi. TV reception is either satellite service or over the air tv. We received PBS north coast and 4 channels.
One of the best laid out parks we've been in in a very long time. Clean well maintained an the location location location, not bad rates for the area your in. Family owned a really nice friendly bunch they have a great gift shop also the Immortal Redwood. Good Sam park it's worth the visit as home base for all the sight seeing you can do, stayed a week still could have stayed longer just so much to see.
Stayed here 06/23/15 on a whim. Very nice clean park. Bathrooms & laundry facilities were super clean. Folks that work over in the gift shop were very hospitable. Park was super quiet after dark. Would stay here again without hesitation.
Clean facilities, and very helpful staff. Paved Plat forms with a nice grassy sites witch include fire pits. The area is quiet and well managed. There is a nice RV store for last minute items and souvenirs. We stayed 2 nights with 2 boxers and had a great time. Location is on the "Ave of the Giants"which is 10 min to everything. Highly recommend this Ancient Redwoods RV Park!
Small campground that is excellent for stopping late at night. Not much here so no reason to spend a lot of time unless you have a tow car. Well kept and cute store.
Looked nice, didntt stay, just want to alert people.
Very nice park. Super clean and tidy. Staff are very welcoming and helpful. Would definitely stay again
This park is well maintained and the showers / restrooms were clean. The location right on the Avenue of Giants is great for viewing the redwoods (we thought the Founders Grove and Rockefeller Forest were most impressive). We would definitely stay here again.
Well I always reed reviews and I love to shear my experience . Park it self - clean , very nice people who own it. You are on Avenue of Giants and lovely atmosphere. If you stay a week you get 7 night free. Bathroom , laundromat are clean - like really clean. One problem - no internet . So yes they have booster and I have Verizon but still didn t had a signal and know that fires just around Conner it s kinda scary . We are after all in 2018 - I think it s about step up a bit and place a internet booster for park will be bring more people to it as well. But I will stay here again if I pass thrue because after all clean park and nice people .
Small gift shop for last minute items/souvenirs. Friendly staff. Easy pull thru spaces. Laundry, bathrooms, showers. Limited WiFi, no cable. Verizon & US Cellular only have service. No trees at campsite. Short walk to tall redwoods. Great for one night.
Right on the Avenue of the Giants. Park is quiet, easy sites to pull in to, no trees or not a lot of privacy between sites though. Folks who run the park are super! Great store with works from local artists. Would definitely stay here again!
Clean grounds and facilities. Beautiful area surrounding. Staff very pleasant and accommodating. Wish me had more time to stay longer! Would definitely recommend.
great place, we wanted to travel further, but very slow going up Highway 1, so decided to find a place about 50 miles shorter than we wanted, glad we did. Campgrounds are right by the Redwoods, clean, full hook ups, we had a pull through, plenty of room between sites, nice store, great hosts, very friendly. Really glad we stayed. Good Sam discount, a little high, but well worth the cost.
Best kept secret in the California redwoods. Clean, all hookups, not clustered with trees, large campsites. A real gem. The hosts are friendly, with a beautiful gift shop.
Great location among the redwoods. Big rig friendly with good access. 50 amp FHU, sites 28 - 44 will get satellite, no TV or cell. Wifi limited to 1 gigabyte. Didn't use the showers or laundry. Very friendly/ helpful staff. Overall a good park for a short stay.
Very nice place, quiet, clean, need Verizon to get one bar (ok for me). All hookups are perfect.
Very clean. Helpful owners. Quiet. Beautiful trees surrounding the park.
We stayed 2 nights and really enjoyed it. We spent time walking the creek behind the immortal tree and then later drove down the road to see all the trees and the Shrine Drive Thru tree. Owners were very friendly. No cell phone service and limited internet, but we didn't mind, it was a nice break.
