We were pulling a 33ft bumper pull & last min decided to stay in the area. I was so happy to find this place. Beautiful park, nice lake, everyone was super friendly, big nice gravel spaces. Your neighbors are not right on top of you! No waste& water@spot but dump & water to use as soon as you come into park. Would old loved to have stayed longer!!! Def will b back if I'm in the area!
The park contains 5 campgrounds, and 1 remote lake access area. Fees for an electrical site on gravel are 20.05 a nite. Comfort stations are clean and open May through the first of October. There are vault toilets open year round. Sleeping cabins with air/ heat are available year round for $40.00 a nite. Cheyenne, Cascade, Hat Creek, and Horse Head campgrounds are located in the main section of the park, while Sheps Canyon is accesses via Highway 71 through Hot Springs.
I arrived on a weekend so perhaps during the week isn't so crowded. A nice lake but preferring a little bit of quiet and solitude, not my cup of tea. Tons of off leash dogs and your neighbors so close you can smell their farts.
