Tight lots, but had full service. Beautiful park and beach area, with docks and slips. Has shaowets, washrooms, store, and a friendly pet deer. Enjoyed our stay even though it rained most of the time we were there, we would stop again, great for the over night - weekend camper.
We had a great stay here. We would certainly go back and stay for longer (we just used this as an overnight stop). Full service. Nice big and very level spots. We are very happy with this place.
If you are looking to camp peacefully, well do not camp here. We were peacfully in our campsite no music, not causing any noise or issues,just a fire and making hotdogs and my wife around 10:30pm when we were harrassed by the caretaker/owner telling us "it's time for bed" I said exuse me I didnt know I had a bed time and it is not even 11pm yet... He continued on saying if our fire wasnt out by 11pm he would be contacting the police! My wife and I were so suprised on how rude and uncomfotable he made us feel and decided to just put it out and go to sleep. Well at around 6am in the morning i heard somthing in our campsite moving things around. When i got out of my tent there was 2 young guys picking beer cans out of the fire pit. I said excuse me how come you guys are in our lot... They said we gave thier father a hard time last night and didnt beleive we would be out of there by 11am.. I was so furiated since it was only 6am and by no means was our site a tad messy. I asked to speak with a manager or caretaker and they told me to go f... myself.. Horrible experience all in all and would not recomend anyone to stay here. Also was not kept neat, washrooms were filthy and had no toilet paper both times we used them.
Yes, two overnights, one in early May 2017 on our way west and again at end of June on return east. Good level gravel sites, easy hookups, quiet area. Would certainly stay again.
Our first time RVing and wanted to try this location. If towing an RV of 30ft or longer and coming East. The town of Kenora must be driven through to access campgrounds. Canadian Tire and WalMart are near campgrounds. All the RV sites are close together with little to no privacy but easy to back into. The parking is fairly level. Washrooms are private stalls with a few separate showers. Many sites over look the lake. All in all not a bad location.
We were in the cul de sac which is very quiet and roomy. I love the park for walking and the water activities. The new office is fun and funky with coffee waffles and smokies. Wi-Fi is no good so just walk and eat ehen you are here. And have a quiet sleep after....lol
