This is probably my favorite state park in MO for camping anyway. Its very quiet, scenic, and nicely kept. As others have said, come prepared as there are no close by restaurants or stores. There is theb oldest continually open restaurant, the J Huston Tavern, in Arrow Rock, definitely make time to eat here, you will not be disappointed, the fried chicken is seriously some of the best we have ever had. Just make sure you check their open times, it varies by season. The park has surprisingly good wifi, much better than most private campgrounds I've stayed at, which is nice because cell reception is very spotty here.

Very peaceful and quiet. Kid friendly if you have them too. Enjoyed a little fishing on the lake and a hike at the fish and wildlife preserve. Lots of little history things to do being a part of the Lewis and Clark trail. The town is very cute. This was worth getting off the highway 10 miles or so!

This a quiet rural park. It was a beautiful stop for the night.
Positives - Paved sites. Fairly level. Camp host very attentive. Firewood and ice for sale. Well maintained. Close to Arrow Rock, a quaint and historic little town that made this stay enjoyable. Negatives - No view. Because it s surrounded by woods, flies and gnats were plentiful. If sites had water, I would have added another star.
Great time exploring historic town and museum. Play at Lyceum theater was awesome! Camp hosts were very helpful. Sites uneven, showers nice, would stay again when in area!
