I picked this campground based on information on this website. I called ahead for a same day space. The campground is clean and nice enough. Nothing that makes it high end or special. So imagine my surprise when they charged me $50 for a nights stay WITH a military discount. This is obviously a campground that relies on yearly leases for income. But ripping off the occasional traveler is no way to build business!
Arrowhead is an amazingly well-kept place with stellar accommodations. Off the beaten path but worth it! Level sites, beautiful landscaping, great pool and game room, and spotless bathroom and shower house. The owners are very friendly and helpful. You can tell they take pride in their campground and enjoy it. We loved the atmosphere and walking around the ponds on the grounds. Gorgeous! Highly recommended.
