Reviews for Artesia RV Park

| Quiet, neat, clean and orderly

This park is just off 285 in Artesia on W Hermosa. There is a park with a similar name 1-2 blocks south of Hermosa so don't get confused. Artesia is in the early stages of an oil and gas boom so availability can be limited and calling ahead is a good idea. Staff is kind, helpful, efficient and it is a well run operation. Nice all - gravel level lots with some trees. Bathrooms very small but clean. Quiet and basic. Would stay again when passing through.

This is a very nice and very open RV park. Nothing special, but very clean. The entire place is good clean gravel. Spots are wide, but not long enough for a big rig towing. Their are a lot of trailers for local workers, but lots of room for travelers. Very quiet. The staff is very nice. The bathroom areas are small. Street lights are spaced throughout. Trees are immature so satellite reception is great.

This is a big park. The sites are well spaced with lots of room. The park is all gravel but is neat and clean. Close to road and train tracks. Good stop

| Nice park, small bathroom

The park is nicely layout with plenty of space between each lot. There are only 3 bathroom one for women and two for men. Shower and toilet are in the same room so if you are a woman and in need to use the bathroom you maybe SOL. The room was so small even a small person will feel cramped.

We spent 3 nights here in March and enjoyed our stay. Large sites with full hook ups. Two laundry facilities with very reasonable rates!!! Clean showers and bathrooms although the one is small but most people used their hook ups. The office attendants were extremely pleasant. We loved going out sight seeing and keeping Artesia as our base. I would love to come back as there is so much more to see. The petroleum fields and refinery were fascinating too!

| Great park, Manger doesn t follow their own rules

Have spent a substantial amount of time here, the park is great. Spot are spacious and all the other guest are very considerate and it feels like a neighborhood. The office manager doesn t follow the rules that they post. Her dogs fun all around the park, she flies around the park in her pickup. There are many families in the park but she seems to have no regard for the 5 mph posted speed limit. And when she smooths out the rock, hope it s not windy cause she flies in the tractor stirring up crazy amounts of dust. The park is great, the brown haired lady is not.
