Reviews for Astoria / Warrenton / Seaside KOA

| FANTASTIC!!

By user-5495439... on 2018-06-27.

What an AMAZING RV Resort!!! Pool was wonderful - staff fabulous - showers great - free pancake breakfast my kids absolutely loved! And the weekend activities are soooo complete!!! My kids never lacked for things to do. I would stay here again in a heartbeat! Only comment to the negative is the 'paved' sites are kind of narrow and terraced - suggest you choose the open gravel spots as they are wider and more level.

| Best KOA we've ever stayed at.

A large campground but with lots of room between sites..at least in the area we were staying. We had a 50a site with a concrete patio, propane bbq, firepit, table & chairs and a swing. Although we don't have young age kids, we were close enough to the kids area to see what they had. A jumper, basketball & volleyball courts, play area, miniature golf, gem mining. They have two pools. They have a cafe that provides breakfast on Sat & Sun and lunch/dinner Friday & Saturday (off season..everyday during summer), and the prices were very reasonable...Free, all you can eat pancakes, $1.50 for bacon..where can you get an order of bacon for $1.50. And on our last morning as we were leaving we had 3 elks in the campground. Would definitely come back.

| Awesome campground

We brought our granddaughter here for the second time on April 27th and stayed 4 nites. However, Grama made a huge mistake and made the reservation for Lincoln city Koa. Didn't realize till we got here cuz they couldn't find our reservation. When I showed them a copy of my email confirmation we realized it was the wrong Koa. Needless to say we didn't want to drive another 2 hours. The manager was amazing and they found us a site right across from the play area. How perfect and wonderful. I just can't believe they didn't just send us down the road. The staff and everyone is so extremely nice. There are men who check everyone as they come in the park which is a huge safety precaution to keep us all safe especially our little ones. So many fun things to do. Wonderful wonderful wonderful Koa. We will be coming back for 7 nites in July. Can't wait. The grounds are kept nice and we always make friends as well as our granddaughter making friends. Thank u warrenton Koa again for all u did to help us out. We will always remember what u did. Keep up the good work PLEASE!

This was the greatest place, rated the number one koa I found out and I see why, it was awesome, large fire pit they had going in the evening that we relaxed by and made s'mores. Free pancakes in the morning. Would stay here again if I was in the area in a heartbeat. Not a crowded park, friendly staff.

| Disrespectful to Veterans

By user-5270165... on 2018-06-27.

We are a blended family, both veterans, and have five children. That being said, prices matter to us as we have many mouths to feed. We planned our west coast road trip for family vacation based on this fact. This park promised a military discount, so we booked. They said they would refund us the money when we checked out in the morning. When we attempted to do so, they said their system wouldn’t allow. When further questioned they changed their story and said it was against policy. Blatantly, they lied and were disrespectful. To be fair, this is a nice place with a great pool, clean facilities, and they are on top of pick up. We are not normally the type who expect anything in return for our service. However, as a human all of us deserve honestly and to be respected unless proven otherwise. This was not the case at this park. I would urge anyone who honors these values to choose another park.

| Great place with one exception...

It’s a great park located across the street from Ft. Stevens State Park. This time of year the mosquitos are thick at Ft. Stevens but hardly any at this KOA. The exception I mentioned in the title has to do with the full hook-up sites. They updated the park last year and installed “goose neck” sewer receptacles. I’m no rocket surgeon but I do know liquid will not run up hill. Ask when you book your site as some are worse than others. I’m confused why they wouldn’t leave them at ground level. Unsanitary!

| Great for kids not so for adults

By user-5850709... on 2019-08-09.

This koa is great for kids there s lots of kids. The hot tub is located inside with one of their pools. It s constantly screaming kids going from the pool to the spa back to the pool. There is no quiet time or adult time for the spa so you probably will never get to use the spa. The grass around the property is all dead you would think for the $80 a night they charge they could afford to water some of the grass see my picture

| Good but it is kid heavy

It s got tons of amenities for kids - we don t have kids but when we do we would definitely come back.
