Very nice, clean KOA. We really liked the trees at every site and the woodsy feel. Our 50 amp, FHU, pull-thru site was gravel & level. We had a wooden patio/deck with a very nice grill. The WiFi was very good - no cable, but we were able to get several OTA channels. Friendly, efficient check-in with helpful staff. We stayed 2 nights while passing through and would not hesitate to stay again if in the area. We stayed in a motorhome.
We really enjoyed our visit here. The staff was very friendly and were helpful in every way. The restrooms are large and super clean. We played badminton, mini golf (free and appropriately so as it is just a kids' simple course) the pool was nice and open until dusk. They also had a small disc golf course and you can set your family up to be doused by a water balloon if you hit the target. There is a short trail for walking. Wear bug spray on this. A family friendly place and the beekeeper might show you his stuff. Tell him Iowa sent you
Rates shown on RV Parky are way off. We paid $52. Sites are nice wooded sites. They are level and cut into a hillside A quiet nice place to stay. No cable or satellite tv.
Nice place for our one night stopover. Clean campground and nice front office. Enjoyed speaking with Chris, the groundskeeper, offering his help. Tons of activities for the kids. Loved the music piped into the restrooms. All around great spot.
Very nice KOA - simple, clean, super friendly. Stayed twice for single overnights on our outbound and return trip to the Canadian Atlantic provinces. Will certainly book again when traveling through Maine. This leg we stayed in Site 18 - level easy pull-through and convenient to bathrooms ( we didn t book sewer hookup)
