Reviews for Autumn Woods RV Park

| ideal for Mayo patients

Stayed here while being diagnosed at the Mayo. Park has arrangements with taxi service as shuttle to and from Mayo at discounted rate. Staff is very helpful. They do not make you commit to number of days needed recognizing treatment times may be uncertain. That means no penalty if you leave sooner than expected. You pay for only the days you use. Park is clean and well maintained. My only negative was weak WiFi signal.

We are currently staying at the park. We arrived yesterday. I made a reservation about a month ago and confirmed it a week +before arrival. On the day of arrival I had no phone service until afternoon. I received a message from the park stating that I had no spot and to check after 1:30. Luckily when I called they had a spot for me. We are fulltime RVer's in 8 years I have never had anyone call on our arrival day to say they were over booked and I was on the waiting list for a spot. We are not patients of the clinic and I can tell there are others who are not. I worked in the medical profession and appreciate that they are doing this important service for those that need it however I would have had nowhere to go and would have been greatly inconvenienced had a spot not opened. The planning on the part of the staff just needs to be improved. We are in a large MH, can't just park anywhere. That being said, the people are friendly, the park is average to above. We are in the rally area and the site is decent, the larger pull through sites are very nice with more shading and a picnic table. We are visiting friends so our accommodations are adequate, the 50 amp is good and I have fairly good wifi.

| Not Horrible

Generally a gravel and grass overpriced one night stop. When you get off highway they have two new traffic circles but the park has two nice signs. Problem is after you pass the street the parks address is on, that is no longer there, they failed to place the third sign where you actually have to turn. I hope when sick folks need to stay here when going to Mayo Clinic they don't charge them as much as they did us.

| NOT a campground

If you like camping in a parking lot, this is for you. Small, cramped sites with little if any vegetation. We were assigned a site and wanted to move but was told we couldn't, although there were at least 30 open sites. Never been camping where the sites don't EVER allow a campfire. This would be an upgrade from a Walmart parking lot but not much. WIFI didn't work, limited, single user bath facilities. Had planned a 3 night stay, left first thing after first night

| Close to Mayo Clinic

Not cheap, but very convenient for Mayo visits. Sites are fairly level, gravel surface. We had a picnic table while other sites did not. Office staff are extremely pleasant. Nice area to walk our dogs. Shuttle service to and from Mayo Clinic was $5.00/person per trip. Would stay there again if we have to return to Mayo.

| Nice and shady on the lower level.

Lower level is shady with grass. Nice folks, helpful, clean facilities. It's close to the airport but let's face it Rochester airport is pretty darned quiet.
