Great campground. Very friendly workamp people, clean and spacious sites, 30 & 50 amp with water. Clean showers & restrooms. This was my fall camping destination from Shreveport LA 250 miles away. Great area and of plenty of sights to see--winneries, scenery from nearby mountains, Subiaca Monastery. My favorite area.
This campground is kept very clean, including the bath/shower rooms. We had a space along the riverbank that was ideal (B9). Lots of children playing but at 8:00 pm, everyone was pretty quiet. There are train tracks across the river from the park and you will hear the trains go by. Park staff are very friendly.
Corp of engineer park. Shady, level, spacious, asphalt sites. River or non-river lots. Picnic tables and grills at all sites. Paved roads very friendly staff. Nice place to relax and watch the barges go by. Train track across river but only saw one train and maybe one early in morning but did not bother us. Good areas to walk dog. Would stay here again
Beautiful campground right on the River. Campsites are spacious and most have some shade. Bathrooms are clean. Price is affordable and people are friendly here. My only negative comment would be that the train noise at night might bother some people. Earplugs might be handy to have if you're a light sleeper.
Great spot. Big park. Right on river. Within ten miles of I-40. Free with national park pass. Water and electric at every site. Clean enough.
This is a beautiful location and a short distance from I 40. We stayed one night and would have liked to stay for a week. The sites are large, water and electricity and have a water view. The restrooms were clean and will stocked. We had an easy check in; best part was the $10 withe the"geezer" pass. The park has a very friendly and informative staff.
This is a beautiful park right on the river. We had site B1 at end of park. Lots of space between sites. Cement picnic table, fire pit, BBQ stand. Our views were spectacular of river and bridge at night. No campsite next to us out our front door, so it was very private. Rate $9.00 with Golden Age Pass. Water and electricity. There is a train track across the river and several trains day and night. Didn't bother us. Hosts were very friendly and park, showers, baths very clean. We stayed a week and loved it.
Good COE...river views of barges... 30amp sites would be Ok if you don’t need to run A/C and other big Electric usage.. we arrived in Nov on a 85 degree day.... We stayed in B20 in a 40ft bus, easy access... Don’t stay at sites by speed bumps, traffic noise every time slow down for bump....beautiful trees in B loop, level asphalt.... I still would stay again if we come back through Arkansas
Wonderful campground with large sites and magnificent views.
Beautiful State Park close to the interstate. Our backyard was a beautiful river and the sound of a train echoed a few times while we were there. Great family park.
Great park. F loop sites with w/e. Long back in. On River or just across, either way... wonderful. Not far from Ozark or I40. Traveling in 35' MH. Dump station on the way out. Love the COE parks. (50 amp) and used Golden Pass.

A beautiful green COE park on Ozark Lake with spacious sites all having a table, BBQ grill, and a fire pit. Great place to sit and relax and watch the river and the barges. You can see even the dam from some of the sites. Water and electric hook-ups with a convenient dump station . I wish we could have stayed longer and will definitely return.

This place is awesome! Water and electric, has dump. Verizon cell 4 bars. Hot spot works great. Paved level sites. Huge sites with space between. Bath houses are poured concrete storm shelters! Great idea! With America Beautiful, Golden Passports, etc $9.00. No tax. Pay with cash only. Riverfront campsites. We stayed in B1. Right beside bath house shelter. Highly recommend. Just 4 miles from I-40.
Great park with great views but the spring flooding of 2019 has closed it down.
