Checking out park today, looks nice. Some available places.
Was told one price charged a other. Nice yuppie park. Not nice manager. Just saying.
A few minutes later a lady walked in and he asked if I would explain how I found them using rvparky. I said sure. And as soon as I began the lady interupted and said that they weren't interested. I explained that I wasnt selling anything and tried again. I was interupted 3 more times and never did get to tell them how I found their park! I left saying that I apparently have made an error in stopping there. I told the gentleman it was nice to have met him
Nice location. Great helpful folks working there...Wendy and Jim. There were a few rigs that look like they've been there a long while. All in all I'd stay again. No dog park for your dog to run...our dog loves to run, that was really my only complaint.
We stayed here two nights in our Motorhome with a tow vehicle. We had a pull through spot and they parked us right next to travel trailer with little kids, chairs and cars in the front of their site near the exit road. We asked Manager if we could be moved because we had our tow hooked up and wanted to pull out early in morning. We said we concerned and didn’t want to wake people up to move their cars. The Manager said no she couldn’t move us and stated she had bigger rigs than ours make the turn. She started bragging about her experience in RV park business and how everyone there lives in their RV. She then implied my husband didn’t know how to drive (or his ability). She told me to get out and help, not to just sit inside and do nothing. We explained my husband drove semi double trailers all his life and has many safe driving awards also a circle of honor award which requires over 25 years for safe driving. We explained we were just concerned about all the stuff out front in the way. She did talk to neighbors to move their vehicle and they were very accommodating and all went well. All the help was nice and understanding except for the Manager she was very rude and smart aleck. Squeezed into small park.
We stayed 3 nights which was 2 nights to many, hard to find places to stay this time of year. Rest rooms were not available due to remodel, no showers, laundry has two washers. Very tight spaces, noisy, lots of full timers with the typical trash. Not a very nice area of town, not convenient to anything, okay in a pinch.
This is an awesome park. We got to see pelicans fishing right behind our fifth wheel. We would absolutely stay here again!!!
Near Pensacola and a couple of historic towns (check out Milton). Convenient to I-10 and Hwy. 90, on a wetland river channel. Not right On the highways. Sites are full-service and adequate size. Bathhouse small and older with small laundry area. Not a destination, out of the real busy areas is nice though. Very nice and helpful staff a real bonus!
Cable TV pretty good and Wi-Fi ok. Paved, asphalt or rock sites level and easy to access; sites look short but they ve designated a parking lane for your vehicle. Paved patio with table. Grassy area between campers. Some on the canal; others back up to wooded wetlands. A short trail around the park; and clubhouse and pool hadn t seen!
We stayed 6 nights while we visited the Pemsacolsa Naval Air Museum , staff was great even with our later than expected arrival someone was there to help us find our space and get backed in. Had a beautiful spot overlooking a canal where we watched pelicans dive for their meals.
