I arrived at this campground on a hot summer afternoon. Ronda at the office was really nice and laid back. She asked to make sure that I didn't have any special needs ie close to the showers etc. She was very friendly and easy going With the temperature close to 100 degrees the power consumption was high. The camper next to me pointed out. When I contacted Ronda after office hours she asked if I was willing to move to another site. It was nice to able to contact her so quickly to be able to resolve the issue for myself & my new nieghbor. Another of the staff helped me to locate another site and all was good in minutes. I ended up next to another camper from MI. and all was good. I highly recommend this campground. They seem to be able to handle anything that comes up.
Pros: Pleasant staff Close, but not too close to interstate 90 Close to Badlands National Park Strong WiFi Cons Could use more gravel on roads and sites. Arrived after a rain and it was muddy. Trees need trimming. Site we were in had tree too low
I pulled in here just for the night and the place looks abandoned. It’s rundown and trashy and I am the only one here for the night and it’s just creepy. I went in the bathrooms and they are absolutely nasty. I plugged in so I could have electricity but the water is not working at the site and there’s no way I’m going in the shower house to shower. I do not recommend this place at all. If it wasn’t Getting dark and I wasn’t in the middle of nowhere I would try and find something else. I just pray that I’ll be safe for the night.
Bathrooms dirty and smelled. Grounds not kept up. It was ok for one night stay.
