Very basic but adequate KOA, likely a testimony to its very remote location. Certainly far different experience from the KOA at West Glacier, MT, which we also visited on this trip. Park was clean and very quiet. It provided a good base to explore Badlands NP.
Clean restrooms well managed. Quiet. Good sized dog park and wash station. Lousy wi-fi. Non- existent Verizon signal.
This park is about 6 miles from the entrance to Badlands National Park... which you had better like, since there isn't much else in the area. Well, there is the Minuteman Missile National Historic Site... but that's it! The park is very nice. The owners are friendly and the amenities are very good. There's lots to do for the entire family and they keep the family activities in one area, so that us older folks can enjoy the quiet on the other side. The area is very quiet and relaxing. The only negative is the WiFi, which is not very good. Also, this is a KOA... so pretty expensive. If you want cheaper, there is a pretty decent park in Interior for about $30 per night.
