I've circled the US along the coast since Oct 2016. Dry camping and staying in many many parks. This was my second time here. Might be the best state Park I've stayed in. Book in advance!!

We got in for one night - by luck - and loved it. Big sites with some foliage for privacy. Nice beaches, trails, everything to could want. About $40 per night is cheap for the keys. Reservations are a must ( we tried to add days and it was booked to August!). If you can plan ahead don't pass this up.

| One of the Best RV Parks

This is a very nice state part. Just make sure you being a extra 25 or 50 foot water hose with you for your water hookup on your site. My 25 foot hose came up short, if I wanted my Electric Hookup. Beautiful place to be, water at this time of year was great. Water is crystal clear the way it should be.

Best beaches on the Keys. Super friendly staff. Great snorkeling. Clean bathrooms. The RV sites are nice, level, somewhat secluded with trees and bushes surrounding you. Would love to come back!

| Nice Park

Sites are small and as with most State Parks there is no sewer onsite. But the camping area is quiet and peaceful. Price for the Keys is excellent at around $45 a day. Nice onsite store with snack bar and gifts. Great place to take a snorkeling trip. Would stay again!

| Bahia Honda beautiful

Bahia Honda is a beautiful park... Thanks for the effort in rebuilding it. Hurricane Irma did much damage. We have always spent happy days here. today I am happy to be able to enjoy it again!

It is almost ok impossible to get reservations. I joined a Bahia Honda Facebook group and was contacted by someone who wanted to assist me with getting reservations for a fee. He basically said he was in an office with 20-40 people that get online every morning when sites become available and they book them repeatedly hitting the refresh. He requested my info to log into Reserve America, credit card info and he would get the site I wanted for a fee.

| Would be 5 stars if we had waterfront!

Plan ahead and get those awesome waterfront spots. Wow! Even with an interior site, we had fun. It is easy to walk the dogs to a little bench and see the sunset. Note: The water hookups require super long hoses. Lots more road noise than I was expecting. Nice wide spaces & foliage makes it feel somewhat private. Friendly folks. If the Atlantic side had been open (hurricane damage has it closed now) it would have been fantastic to stroll the longer, less rocky beach there. The beach that is open is tiny and quite crowded but the water is clear and lovely. We would definitely come back for a waterfront space. Just astonishing! Had to hustle to get there before the gate closure — a long drive but glad we made it.
