We was only for one night, but it was very good. Really nice pool an hot Jacuzzi. And a very good restaurant with great steaks! We come again, if we are in this area! Only the train by night sometimes....

| 4 to 5 stars! So far!

Literally we just pulled in at 8:40 pm and they were so helpful! Directed to spot and gave us info down to menu for the restaurant. Only thing missing wifi password until office opens at 8:00 am. Clean, well lit , pool, bar and grille and secure gate after 10 pm. We're happy campers!

WOW ! , NICE ! The staff is very friendly and accommodating. We were so tired after getting beat up by I-5 from Redding to Bakersfield :-[ when we checked in they gave us a beautiful printed map of the park. A list of 40 cable channels and a menu, yes I said a menu. There is a bar & grill you can choose to eat out or have them deliver straight to your door. Which we did. We ordered burger patties well done for the doggies and my husband had the ultimate works burger and I had lemon chicken picatta with green beans and a baked potato. All of the food was great. Very fresh and the servings were well proportioned. Even though the thought of ever having to travel inside California again is exhausting. I will be putting Bakersfield RV Resort as #1 on my list of best RV Park's in the Bakersfield area. Of course I will write a final review after we leave. We're staying an extra day!

| Horrible wifi

By user-6388181... on 2017-10-23.

The wifi sucks here. It wont even load a youtube video at 360p. Forget about netflix or other streaming services.

This park was a last minute decision. We just stayed one night on our way back home. It was very neat and clean. They had nice size pads and shade trees. Plus they give you fresh baked cookies when you check in.

| Awesome Park

Have been here since Oct 1st and have everything good to say about the Bakersfield RV Resort! We are wintering here and love it. Quiet area for the most part. Very little freeway 99 noise, the occasional siren, train horn and even chickens/roosters on the other side of concrete wall makes you think you're out in the country! Staff is very friendly and helpful. On site restaurant has all kinds of food plus live music some weekends. However, there are those fulltiming that carry on until 4am a lot of the time, so the rule about "quiet time at 10pm" doesn't hold much water. Even if you let the office know, it is not enforced.

We frequent this park. We like that it has an onsite restaurant, which we usually enjoy. The park is very nicely landscaped considering it's arid environment. The biggest concern I have is that every visit, everyone seems to be assigned sites that are not really big enough. We could not have left our Honda attached to our 37' Class A & fit in our pull through site. As did most others, we had our car parked perpendicular to the coach. This resulted in many vehicles extending somewhat into the road. This trip, this was merely an annoyance. In the past, I've simply requested, when calling for a reservation, that I be given a site long enough that I can leave the car attached. They have always accommodated that request.

Would be 5 star if not for the trains honking their horns at night. Very clesn, eady to park snd a restaurant on site

Lovely RV resort! This property is clean and well maintained with a friendly and eager to help staff. They have me boys fresh cookies while I checked in and the camp host escorted us to our site and helped my husband get pulled in and lined up. We had breakfast at the grill in the morning and it was great! The ONLY thing keeping this from 5 stars is the proximity to the train tracks.

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $46.00 I can't tell you how much we appreciated finding Bakersfield RV Resort! We ended up there after a couple of days driving through excessive heat advisories and some desolate landscapes with dust, parched earth and little to no shade. It was SO nice to pull into such a wonderful, level, clean resort like this. It really is first class! We took advantage of the wonderful on proprety restaurant and went back to our RV happy and cooled off with full bellies! They also deliver to your door. We were driving a 25' motorhome with a tow vehicle (42' over-all) and were escorted to our ample, pull thru site with FHU. This is definitely big rig friendly. We had no trouble finding south for our DirecTV satellite dish. Our 2 doodles appreciated the sporadic patches of grass. We were just there for an overnight, but if ever we find ourselves in Bakersfield again, we would not even look at other places to stay. The amenities...massages, pool, fitness center were unused by us, but would be a welcome treat next time. We paid $45.90 total (Good Sam, FMCA, etc)

| In town location

There are 2 primary draws to this park for us. The first is that a Costco is located a little further down Panama where we gas up. The second is the on site restaurant, 'The Crest'. The park's in-town location on a multilane street makes for easy access form the 99, (come in from the north to avoid navigating a left turn thru a single lane bordered by concrete curbs), but also guarantees lots of traffic noise. Staff is always great. Given its suburban southern Central Valley location it is a beautiful park.

| Had a good visit

By user-6350521... on 2018-05-17.

Great place, Good price, clean, good location. The on location Crest Bar & Grill was the best. We did not use their WIFI. A small amount of traffic noise and only one train was heard in the early evening. We would stay here again.

| Great Park for traveling the I-5

Second time staying there on the way north this time after a grueling trek thru LA traffic. Very nice place, no need to unhook the car. Great restaurant inside the park with a patio for breakfast lunch and dinner with the pooch.

| Great for a stopover

We stayed here a couple nights on our way north. Site was a little short for our 40' motorhome, but we parked sideways behind it. Paved roads, level gravel sites. Nice facilities with restaurant and outdoor patio. Didn't realize Buck Owens "Crystal Palace was only about 10 minutes away. We went and enjoyed the museum. Dinner was very good. Lots of memorabilia and photos. Live music at 7 p.m. We would stay again.

| One of our favorites!

By user-5862185... on 2019-08-09.

A high quality resort in the middle of the city! Loved the pool, spa, the cable & the level sites! Showers were awesome and loved that there was a restaurant/bar on site, even though we didn't use them. I would go back in a heart beat. We had no problem with wi-fi although it wasn't busy when we were there so maybe that helped. Highly recommend!
