Reviews for Balzac Campground RV Park & Storage

| Camping in a cow pasture

Now, to be fair, it has rained several days before we arrived and was still raining, BUT, this was a rutted up, mud hole! They have a locked gate at night which locked at least 10 people out of the park during the Stampede and we had to leave our vehicles unattended and walk through the mud mess to our sites, in the middle of the night. We called the after hours number several times and message box was full...what a surprise. The bathrooms were clean, but you have to pay to take a shower! I would give them 1 star, but they were very helpful with suggestions for off site pet care and they were very convenient. A little work on the surrounding roads in the park and this would be a great little place.

| Horrible!

Dirty, muddy, exposed, unkept, ruts in roads. The only good thing is the location.

| Cow pasture by the highway.

Nestled in the transportation corridor north of the city the highway noise mostly drowned out the airplane and train noise. Full service sites($40) and no service sites ($25). Washrooms were 4/10 and there s a laundry on site. Sites are gravely with grass and mud when raining. This site was available for a few days during Stampede Week so was the only option close to Calgary. Not much else close to town so this campground? fills up for events. Overflow unserviced sites were available for RV s arriving later in the evening.

Stayed two nights there as every other campground was booked. Use as a last resort. Very muddy dirty place. Bathroom were clean . campground is just muddy and run down. We spent a third night at the Walmart a few minutes farther north. Much better
