Tried calling to make a reservation and had to leave a voicemail. Called at least 10 times while on the road to Denver from Rock Springs WY. This Rv park was the closet to my destination. Never got a call back. When we got there it looked as though there were at least 20 spaces left. Went into the office and the lady said they had no vacancies due to a pipeline being installed in the area. I asked why no one called me back. She said oh we've been busy all day. We probably didn't have time check out the messages. First of all they couldn't have been that busy cause when I walked in she wasn't doing anything. Secondly, how could they have been too busy if they were full all along because of the pipline? Thirdly, they could have put a message on their answering machine saying they had no openings! Very poor way to do business!!!!! If you have an answering machine, RETURN THE CALL! Otherwise don't ask people to leave a message and that you will call them back!!! You couldn't have been busy during all of my 10+ attempts to speak to someone at Barr Lake
They have gravel pads. Full 50 amp hook up and and sewage access on site.. A little bit on the expensive side but is a great place to stay!
We stayed at Barr Lake in August, 2014. I had reserved two campsites. We arrived after hrs, only to find out that they only reserved one spot for us. Finally, after frantically trying to reach someone from the park for a half hr(?), their maintenance person returned my call and met with me. He was able to put my second unit in another so called camp site, which was half the size of a normal site - in their overflow lot. And after all this, they charged me full price! Not happy! Unfortunately, there is nothing else close, and Brighton is where I need to be :/
