Excellent layout, flat ground But prices have increased from $22 for waterfront lots to $31.83 for waterfront in just 3 yrs Offered half price for disabled patrons who had Access Pass but now only offer 10% off Looks like they may be catering to the wealthier people
Lovely out of the way place on a TVA reservoir. Many permanent residences. Very nice and clean. Let us come in late arrival. Picked a spot right on the water! Gorgeous views and cool breezes. Large flat, shaded spots. Pull thrus with electric and water. Dump station available. We are traveling in June in a class A.
The campground is nice enough, but it is mostly permanent rigs with bright outdoor lights left on all night. The shower is ridiculous; a push button gives you a 2-3 second squirt of water, like a hand sink in a gas station - even if you try holding the button in. For RVers, there are no sewer hookups, just a dump station
This campground is okay. We were on the D loop, which is probably the newest. The waterfront lots are a lot nicer. ( Level, with nice grass and some shade). The further away from the water you get, the rougher it gets. The lake is the main attraction. There's really no other reason to go here. The bathrooms are clean and taken care of. The staff was present and seemed to be on top of things. We will probably go back because it's close to home and I love Normandy lake. There are just too many things that need to be fixed to give it 4 stars. Also, they need to level things up.
Stay during the week and have it all to yourself. The weekends are a local party event. The lake is nestled amongst the hills and it is quiet and relaxing. The trees are nice and it is well maintained. No phone connectivity at all. Locals were nice and give great directions. The roads around the area are fun if you like the curves and hills.
