Reviews for Batesville KOA

Not impressed. Most sites are prerty close together and mostly gravel. And completely unmowed and unkept. The KOA is connected to Indian trails which has a loads of long term sites which means there are so many golf carts its somewhat obnoxious. The layout makes no sense and the map they give is not to scale so we had a hard time finding out way around. Not to KOA standards as I expect them. Pool and amenities are a long distance from the koa sites while bathrooms are few and far between. The "STORE" has few items and what they do have is extreme over priced. Would not choose this place again.

Only got to spend one night but got to do a lot. They have a nice lake with a small beach and fishing that does not require a state fishing license. Most of the sites a large with shade trees and full hookup. They provide camp fire rings, and newer picnic tables at each site. This is a large koa park connected to a RV resort so there will be a lot of golf carts driving to the pool, beach and playgrounds. The camp store has the necessary items you may have overlooked.

Plenty of unlevel, unkept sites. LOTS of golf carts at all times. Nice and cozy in the KOA if you like your neighbor's slides at the edge of your firepit. Systems (water, sewer, electric) all work fine. Store has the basics ($$$) but nothing else. Weird (staff's word, not mine) hours at the restaurant. Feels like a cheap trailer park.

Not impressed. Campground was almost empty but yet the employee just could not find time to show us where our spot was. This is a very large campground so it took us a bit to find our spot. And to top it off I do not think they could of given us a spot any further away from the restroom/showers. Will not be returning. $38.00 for one night of electric and water. 30 amp

Should remove from KOA's approved list. They share property with Thousand Trails. Lots of permanent trailers. Almost run down by the unlimited amounts of golf carts and off-road vehicles. Now try to back into your site. I've driven trucks for over 25 years. Had to pull into another site to get our 40' coach in our none level site(over grown with tree branches). Oh, by the way did I mention the 50 AMP breaker had to be turned on/off numerous time too work. What does quite time mean? Nothing at this park. Radio's and music going until 230 am (1st night, 2nd night 1 am). Only reason for stay, closest we could find to stay to go to Cin Reds game.
