| Misleading website/description

The website makes this place look fabulous. The campground has new management, and they mentioned there was a lot they fixed to make the campground better. I am sure they will be continuing to update the place, and it will take some time. While the pool and rec room is accurately described/pictured, the place is lacking greatly. 1) you literally pull up to an open space and have no choice but to park in the middle of it, to walk into the office to check in, essentially blocking others until we moved. 2) the road is one lane, and one way. There is no room for error, so you better know where you're going and do it right the first time. 3) the back of the campground literally has ruts and a worn out road - almost no road left. 4) camp sites are super close together. We couldn't even open our awning! 5) we had to buy extra sewer hose b/c the sewer connection was so weirdly placed - towards the front of the camper and all the way to the site lot line. 6) had to call to inquire about cable (there was a black and a red line to choose from at the site) and free wifi. The supposed open wifi, named after the campground, never showed up in my list of available wifi connections. We will not stay here again, even though we were in the "nicer" section of the campground that was pull-through friendly (which was good, considering the road where our site was off of dead ended) and shaded. We will stay at Holiday Travel Park that is located a few miles away.

Stayed in 61. 61 and 62 and good big rig 1 night stay spots. Pull through, except we felt it necessary to back out. Where the road out meets the main park road there is a very significant dip with lots of grooves cut by trailers. We didn't want to risk getting our fifth wheel into our truck bed or dragging the butt end of our toy hauler getting out. Backing wasn't a huge issue with a good copilot. 43' fifth wheel. Nicely kept, would stay again in only those 2 spots. Would consider wiggling our way in other spots if staying for a while, but not worth the trouble for 1 night. It is not so much the getting in that's the issue, it's getting out, but again we have a very long rig.
