Reviews for Bay Bayou RV Resort

| Good Home Base

We needed a place to stay while we prepared our truck & trailer for storage so we could fly out of Tampa International, only 9 miles away. It had a nice pool. The laundry was $1.50 to wash and $0.75 to dry. One washer was designated for rugs and pet blankets. The sites were gravel, some with tree roots that made it tricky to level. There's a spacious club house with a stage and dance floor. Wifi was pretty good; however, out of 53 cable TV stations, I could not find one that remotely resembled PBS.

| Nice Park

We stayed here in our 40' MH. The park is one of the nicer parks we have stayed in. The sites on gravel and level. The size of the sites are larger than average. All sites are among trees so satellite is not a option however they have cable. The wifi was very good for a park. The staff and residents are very friendly. They have a very active social agenda. I would definitely stay at this park again.

| Very nice RV park

We stayed at this park while visiting my son who lives in Tampa. Hubby and I were very impressed! Nice park with ponds with fountains. Hook ups are all in good shape, alkyl does have Conway slab, park kept up well, people were very friendly. A little pricey but expected that being a private RV (resort) park. Also it is right near a busy main road which did not bother us but may some, especially in a site on the side of the park closest to the road. Over all I give the park 4 stars, only taking one star off due to neatness to road and high price.

We stayed a few days while we had appointment at Lung Institute in Tampa. Very close commute to there. Really enjoyed the park

| NO Older RV's

We stayed here in Jan 2018 and loved it. Went to book for Feb 2019 and were told no RV's older than 15 years. We have a 2001 Fleetwood Discovery in immaculate condition. Better than some 2012 models out there. Such a slap in the face.

It's immaculate. They had is in what we think is a newer area where the sites are wide concrete pads. And wherever did they find the cool hookup towers? 30/50 Amp at the top, potable water in the middle, cable TV at the bottom and hanging hooks on each side of you're hookups are too long. And they light up at night with a soft light so you can see them. Even the older section of the park is nice. If only they could have done something about the rain. The good news is the cable TV worked great!
