We wanted to find a campground on the Pacific Coast. This place is awesome. It's not very large, but the sites are big, level and shaded. There's no direct view of the ocean, but a short 100 yd. walk will get you there. But as nice as the campground is, Iris is the best reason to stay there. She runs the place and is one of the nicest, most helpful people you'll ever meet.
Beautiful spot. Off the hiway so there was no traffic noise. The trail to the beach was short and easy with a nice view of Willapa Bay. The park was lush with growth but well maintained. I highly recommend this gem. Iris (manager) is really nice.
Nicely maintained park. Spaces are nice sized. Cute decorations around the grounds. Path and stairs to a rocky, bay (not sandy ocean) beach. When tide is out it s way out and there is lots of room to walk and play. When tide is in there is about 4 feet of rocky sea grass covered beach. The hosts are nice The location is near nothing. No gas, food, groceries etc. plan accordingly. They don t mention any discount accept KOA but gave us veterans 10% when we asked about it.
