| Beautiful park!!

The road to the park says Dead End, but this is far from dead end. We were met at the office by host Leanne (sp) who drove me around to look for a site. Wanted...overlooking Big Bay De Noc, Garden Bay. We did not have reservations, but the park has been only open for a year and is a little known secret. We stayed in site forty seven, a back in site and fairly level on gravel with a lot of mowed grass all around and plenty wide not to interfere with neighbors. The bathrooms, showers and laundry room all very clean. Only one washer and dryer. No wifi and only ATT, but attached to a beautiful small private marine with a grill and bar with home cooking! And wifi there.

Found this gem purely by accident. Husband and I went to Fayette to see the park there with my son and his girlfriend. My son mentioned getting a bite to eat and we found the restaurant. Sat on the back deck right on the water and noticed the campground on the bluff above. No reservations, but after speaking to the office we drove back to Escanaba, got the RV and spent 2 nights in the campground. Quiet, clean, beautiful views, level parking, feels remote. We will definitely be coming back again next summer for an extended stay. BTW, food was fantastic at the restaurant. I had the pulled pork sandwich special, hubby had the fish. Huge portions, great view, excellent service. Local beers served also.

I LOVE this place! Built new and opened about a year ago. Huge wooded sites on a bluff overlooking Garden Bay off Great Bay du Noc. Clean facilities, not crowded. Walk down a little path to a pleasant bar and grill with seating overlooking the lake, owned by same people that own the campground.

| Lots of gravel, Beautiful views, not for children.

The RV sites are good size, on a hill so some times the leveling can get tricky. Sites are gravel with SOME grass. If up in the trees on top of hill shady and views of the Bay. Bath house is a ways from sites. NOT a good place for kids. Quiet. Our site was all gravel no grass and very close to road, couldn't use fire pit to close to rig, grass patch behind rig, small.

| Quiet place, pretty hill setting, gravel

Newer RV park, it is on a hill, which allows for views over other campers, however does pose some leveling challenges (but Leanne is great and only puts people in a spot good for your size RV). Marina is small, but very nice, and having the restaurant right there was great! Some spaces are full sun, unless you are on the hill, and then it's mostly all shade. Cell service is bad, but it's nice to just get away from it!
