There are no pads. The slots are gravel with grass growing in them. If you are into fishing it looks like a good spot. It is right on the bay. Some of the slots have a bay view. The are no trees or shade at the picnic tables. Located in a busy congested area.
Gravel pads, decent, clean showers though some will find it lacking. Close to Moody Gardens and easy entry, front staff friendly. Quiet place reasonable price
Nice, older but clean and well cared for, not fancy, lots of grass with a large grassy play area for kids. Some of the sites are right on the bayou with a nice view of the water, quiet, very friendly people. We just wanted a comfortable place to park for a few nights while we explored Galveston during the day and it was perfect for that.
The management is very nice but the spots are so tight your slides and awnings practically touch. Literally you are paying for location only. There isn t any security that we can see and the neighborhood is questionable, I have not felt safe with my car out and we have not set any chairs or tables up due to the questionable people waking the street and tenants. There are Several old and run down old rv s. They do have some nice spots on the water but I would say about 10 good spots and 70 ish that are like a storage lot.
The park is older and space are rather tight. But we don't have a huge rig with 12 slideouts. The staff was friendly and helpful. They shared some of the future plans and I think they are on the right track. Great location of you want to go to Moody Gardens.
The campground is more like a trashy trailer park. Owners are trying to make improvements but are just tearing up the grounds.
Nice folks! Working hard to make improvements, so be patient..good things ahead. We enjoyed our time here and will be back!
