This is a four star based on location and the people who run the place. If this were inland, it's a three star. Showers and bathrooms are OK. The site is basically a paved parking lot. There are barely strips of grass. One block to the awesome beach and the people who run the place are great.
The park was clean, but aging. It's basically about 5 acres of blacktop with hookups. No real landscaping. Very close to the ocean, with some really good restaurants within walking distance. Like another reviewer stated, if this park was inland, it would get a lower rating. All in all, it's less of a destination and more of a waypoint for us, but there are some positives- the staff is friendly and helpful, it's close to the ocean and other amenities, and it's easily accessible. We will probably stay again in the future.
Nice stay there often, very clean laundry room, pull through parking, restraunt you can walk to. A great place to eat. A very nice beach you can walk to.
Bayside sucks power is terrible don't have enough to run coffee maker, no security got both bikes stollen, locked up, never going back
