Not sure what the other reviewer is talking about... Beachwood is great! Awesome amenities, fully stocked convenience store onsite, fully fenced and guardshack always open! The people who run it are really nice and laid back! Warm pools year round, kids clubhouse with activities daily. Full hook up sites as well as a tent camping area. I could go on and on!!

Keep in mind this is a members only park, or you have to be invited by a member who is staying there. I am real mixed on this park. The location was great, and the park description sounds much nicer then it is. However, if you are looking for a destination spot for the kids, this could be a good spot. I don’t have kids so hard to speak from there. But lots of spots and it is a really busy place so that must say something. I found the spots very close, and the place was very dusty. Not a place I would look forward to staying.

| Creepy!

This place is really creepy! The only reason I gave it 2 stars, is because it seemed to have quite a few amenities (weird as they were). We didn't stay!

We joined last August and really enjoy this park. Rec facilities inccluding Adult and Family pools & hot tubs plus a kiddie pool, sauna, Adult and Youth clubhouses and a gym. Activities like Frisbee golf, tennis, pickleball and more. Plenty of organized kids events on weekends and all week in summer, store with a lot of that stuff you might have forgotten plus beer and wine and other essentials. At least 2 laundry rooms and several showers and bathrooms. No, it is not paved so it gets dusty sometimes but we are camping here not staying at a fancy hotel. As noted we joined in August mainly because we live just over the border in BC and it is a half hour drive to get here. If it wasn't close enough for weekends it wouldn't be worth it for us but that is a call you have to make for yourself. The people are friendly and there is always something to do -or not if you just want to kick back. Finally, Birch Bay Village is a 5 minute drive away with a great beach and lots of shops and restaurants. If you are looking for a dust free paved facility then this probably isn't for you, but we like it a lot and have a great time every time!
