| Best ever campground
The Bear Paw adult campground is the absolute best in Valdez. We camped here 3 years ago and are here again in 2017. Our site backs up to the channel from the small boat harbor to Prince William Sound. The Views are breathtaking and there is always something going on with boats and ships coming and going. We can get down to the water right behind our site to fish and we hear the gulls all day long. Sites have full hookup, there are private individual bathroom/showers and laundry here in this part of the campground and it is a very short walk to everything in Valdez (stores, restaurants, museums, grocery, fish cleaning station). This is our absolute favorite Alaska campground!
Very close sites but all campgrounds are tight very pet unfriendly
