Ppa
If you can go anywhere else, do it. The sites are in the owner's backyard, behind the Marathon gas station. The only good thing I have to say about them is that they are level. They're on grass and when it rains you have to contend with mud. You can't hook up the sewer line without a donut. It's too low to the ground. The water connection is behind the electric box at site 3. I can't tell you about the bathrooms because they were flooded out during a recent rain, but the laundry is out in the open with just a roof for cover. Stay here only as a last resort.
Just showed up. Got PPA price even though my card said that it had expired. Quiet, sandy sites. In back of gas station.
So so
Just off I 10. Check in at Marathon. Both Marathon an Shell have diesel with easy access. Looks like 8 short term full hookup sites. No pads, park on grass, one post has 2 sets of hookups, fairly level. There's several low rent trailers nearby.
No real amenities, but quiet, dark and clean. Good for a good night sleep if you're passing through. Check in at the store/gas station on the corner. Sewer hook-ups at each site.
$20.50 PA, probably everyone. Plus is a quite area sand I-10, no facilities, ie, bathroom shower WiFi or cable. Better then Walmart parking, plenty of tv channels available.
Easy access from I10, level grass sites. Bathrooms and showers are out of order. Not bad for an overnighter, got ppa price which is worth having fhu in this heat.
Inexpensive full (50 amp) hookup for overnight. Wide spaces all pull-through and easy on-off.
May seem a bit iffy at first, but we were quickly won over. This is much better than a truck stop or a Walmart parking lot stop. No frills. We paid $28 and cash was requested. No wi-fi, but can use it at Burger King that’s within walking distance. No reservation needed, just show up.
Cheap stop for overnight. Easy on and off i10. Didn't check out shower/bathroom, we used our own. Walked to Burger King just a block away for a snack. Big grassy field to park on. Water and electric and sewer. It was nice to have 50 amp for the air on a warm evening. No problems. Check in at marathon gas station. Cash. We paid $24.50 for 3 people for 1 night. We are traveling in a 40ft converted school bus towing a jeep.
Good spot for overnight, full hookups,50/30 amps, level grassy spot
