Reviews for Beaver Valley Haven

| Overpriced

The 2015 review is obviously by the owner. No way this is 4 stars. 2 stars is generous. One shower/toilet for 30 sites. I like to support small rural business but at least repaint the floor and gravel and level sites.

Small Town business.....busy mom handling her business. Spots were sufficient for our 27' w/3 slideouts. Good water pressure and though we are a 30 amp only owner provided us with a converter for their 50 amp hook up. No WIFI and antenna picked up NO Channels. The town of Wibaux is small and this is a good stopping point for the weary traveler.

Had to search just a bit to find it, wasn't too hard though, just a mile or 2 from interstate on hwy7. Nice big spaces, no crowding & quiet yet still close to restaurants etc. I liked it.

| Quiet but needs some cleanup

Very good water, excellent cell phone signal, quiet (with regular train traffic, which we find enjoyable). The park overall needs some cleanup and modernization. Would benefit from having a manager on site at all times. Make sure to bring a power cord adaptor as the hookups are 50 amp and 20 amp. Fortunately, the host was gracious and let us borrow one for the night.

If we could give zero stars, we would. Only thing they have in their favor is that they are open in that area late in the season. Woman walked me around what looked like a war zone filled with large craters. She said to pick from what was available. In addition to holes large enough to swallow a motorhome wheel, large wooden posts extended up from the ground in no logical pattern. I chose the best spot that I could find, but even then a post prevented us from extending one of our slide-outs. It froze every night, but we filled the water tank during the day to use at night. We were there to visit Teddy Roosevelt National Park and this place did have hookups. In hindsight, we might have done better to cold camp in the national park.

Mud hole, too many long time workers, loud drunk neighbors, no TV signals , internet or FM radio station (I did pickup a few AM stations) The only good thing I can say is it has water, electricity and sewage hookups. Would not stay again or recommend this place@
