Great spot
By user-5547945... on 2018-07-06.
This review is just for the campground. In the several months I was there, I never had a chance to use the atv trails.
A really nice up and coming park. Great WiFi. Decent water pressure. Really nice bath houses. There are cabins on the property that are very quaint. Owners are awesome and have big plans that are in progress. One of the coolest things is a cave they’re turning into a cabin! Would definitely stay here again. Only reason I took of a star was for some water issues. I stayed through the coldest months and the underground froze, so we had to use the bath houses. Other than that, we had no issues.

Overnight stay
By user-5420607... on 2019-08-09.
Quiet park with level gravel pads. We only stayed overnight so didn t make use of all the amenities. It filled our need. If you want to pull out before daylight or arrive after dark there are no outside lights. Nice friendly check in. Looks like it would be a fun outdoors place for hiking.

Beautiful!

Best RV park we've stayed in. Beautiful views, lovely hikes and really helpful staff. Long pull throughs and in the perfect location just off the i40 but you can't hear too much noise. Go for the hike to the waterfall it's really worth it.

Like others have said... this is a great place to stop for a few days. The spaces are large, many pull-throughs and paved roads. The WiFi is great. There are great trails for walking. Only thing missing is cable... but the WiFi is good enough for streaming.

Hope to come back sometime
By user-unknown on 2019-08-09.
Just an overnight stop, but really impressed by these folks and the facility! Lots to do if you want to relax a bit. I actually put this one on my "come back again" list for when we have time to use the trails - either hiking or with the 4-wheelers available to rent!

What a gem!
By user-unknown on 2019-08-09.
Stayed for one night on a concrete site that was a back in and it was a huge site! The park is beautifully laid out and easy to find off the highway. All the sites were a nice distance from each other. The check in process was easy and the staff very friendly. They also escort you to your site which is nice! I didn t have the need to check out the restrooms or laundry room but I am sure that they were perfect. The Wi-Fi was outstanding too.

Definately Will Stay Here Again

We stayed here twice, once on the way out to the east coast and then on the return trip. Great park, most of the sites are level and the staff is more than willing to help. Lots of hiking in the area as well as ATV Trails to explore.

Great for overnight or vacation camping

Easy to find; good sites. Very friendly and helpful people. WiFi well above average. A bit of a hike to bathhouse, but not egregiously so. Lost a star due to the presence of poison oak along edges of several RV- and cabin-sites: remind kids (and self!) that "leaflets three, let it be." We would definitely stay here again.

Jewel of East Tennessee

We have absolutely found a "must stay" in this area. The roads are all paved, several sites are concrete (presumably handicapped friendly) and there are many pull through a that are big rig friendly.
The folks running the campground are undoubtedly the nicest folks you'll meet. Josh and his wife are amazing as are a few of the others.
There are great hiking trails that go from a walk in the yard to "make your heart pump", all based on your level.
There are also ATV/UTV trails that cover the 700 acre property and you can even rent machines when other guests (who don't know how to respect others equipment) haven't damaged them.
There are ponds, a nice store and laundry. We have zero complaints. You'll love it to!

Spacious Park!
By user-6043385... on 2019-08-09.
Stayed 2019-07-11 to 2019-07-14
This park is a newer park with wide-open spaces, relatively flat gravel spots and full hook-ups just off the I-40, which can get loud at times The bathrooms are a bit far from most of the RV spots and the amenities are plentiful. They have ATV rentals but during our stay, they were in the shop the whole time. There are trails for hiking, a fishing hole, a swimming hole, and a nice overlook. Overall, there is great potential for this park to grow.

Pricey

Stayed 2019-07-28 to 2019-07-31
Mostly wide open spaces, back in sites are more level than pull thrus. Our pull thru was not very level. Lots of trees but little shade. Bathhouse is closer to tent sites than RV sites. Hiking and ATV trails, which we did not use. Lots of road noise until later in the evening. OK spot for a few days, but pricey. Wifi was acceptable. Got 10 OTA TV channels. My ATT hotspot was great for streaming TV. There are a lot of things to do in area. We stayed in class A motorhome. Probably would not stay here again.
