This was a wonderful place to stay. Large spaces, lots of big shade trees. Grassy spaces. Clean showers and laundry mat. And the staff was great.
We asked for full H U were driven to a site that was mostly dirt and the hook ups were SO far from our coach's hook ups we had to borrow an extension cord. ( we are in a 38 ft diesel pusher) Most RVs have pretty standard hookups on the driver side. We were told by the owner that we could plug into the one on the passenger side. Under the coach! They got us an ext cord but had they placed an RV on our passenger side their hookup would have been under our slide out We made a comment about the design of the hookups and were told it was designed in the 70' s and if we wanted our $$$back they would refund it!! Very surly and not good customer service skills. And they need upgrades to their hookups!!! Which they are not afraid to charge for!! W e were only there one night but I would not have stated any longer!! Nice shade trees and they had a sign at the office that sometime they had won a presidents award!!Hard to believe!
We stay here when we go to visit our friends in Bemidji....great spot. Nice staff. Always clean. Well maintained....
Had reservations for two nites. After check-in and directed to our site, my wife questioned the owner about getting a different site due to trees and construction noise. He rudely told her that she was not going to be happy and sped off in his golf cart before I could even ask a question. My wife walked to the office while I set-up. She was handed a receipt for refund and told we could not stay in their park. We will not stay here or any KOA for that matter again.
Save your money and time and pass this place up.
Other than the price being on the high side like most KOAs we had no issues with this campground. Staff was very friendly and went out of their way to be helpful. Campground is clean and well maintained. No issues with hook ups. Appeared up to date and there were two sewer hookups which is great for those of us with two sets of tanks. We were guided to our site and offered assistance if needed. We had a long gravel 50 amp FHU with cable, picnic table (new), and fire ring. I would call the sites nearby. Cable worked well. Good Verizon service. Nice leash off dog run in the back corner plus small ones up front for puppies/small dogs. Plenty for kids to do. Office sells pizzas. We didn t try them. laundry was1.75 for a washer and 1.25 for a dryer. easy in and out. Campground is gated
Nice older KOA. Staff very friendly. Pull through site deep enough to accommodate our 44 coach with towed. Could use some updating in restroom/shower areas. Difficult access (for big rigs) to dump station. May want to consider more sewer hook ups on pull through sites.
