Nice park, beautiful springs and river/creek running through it. Definitely a bit crowded, but spread out enough to not be a huge factor. Restaurant was also good. Great nature center and interesting hatchery.
Spent several nights here with my wife and beagle. I love to trout fish, so having a campground 200' from the river is a huge bonus. Clean, comfortable and quiet. I'll definitely be back in the very near future!
Nice park with 5 different areas. Some full hook up sites and others with water and electric. FHU sites are in the newest section with concrete pads and 50 amp. Older sections are on gravel, fairly level, with lots of shade.
One of the few state park with a pool. Most of the rec plex units have been remodeled. Due to recent rains the trout stream was very high . But with a little work fishing was fair.
This is a very nice campground with nice clean facilities and plenty to do, especially if you like to fish. You can Wade out into the cool spring stream river and catch up to 4 rainbow trout which are restocked nightly. Only downside for me is that although the sites are nicely separated the one we had has a very small pad for the table and fire ring and much of the gravel had washed away (site 220).
