| Not a gem in the rough

OMG most of the seasonal sites around the lake were small with dumpy, unmaintained trailers on them. The rest of the park wasn't much better. I'll never camp there. Don't waist your time with this place.

This was a weird place. 90% full timers who didn t seem happy with the nightly campers. The spots marked seasonal were rundown old campers that obviously hadn t been moved in years. The camping area looked like a refuge settlement or transient/homeless camp. It was very trashy and there were people who looked like they had been there for months sleeping in their cars. Odd vibe and sketchy atmosphere. They charged $20 for just the dump station. The dump station water hose was cracked and sprayed us with water. The bathroom floor was full of sandy mud and the trash cans were overflowing. The laundry facilities were insufficient for the size of the park. On the plus side: the staff was friendly, the park has a nice pond for swimming, a good sized playground, a big grassy field, and horseshoes. We looked around and checked it out- then left. Not somewhere we were comfortable staying.
