Park was very nice except for flies. Price is now $10 per night and there is only 20 and 30 amp electric which is still good for $10. It is a county park and I thank them for offering the 8 rv sites. Rate this 4 of 5.
It's about 3 miles south of Lakin, KS. It's flat, mostly grassy sites with electricity and water. There are signs about the types of fish here, and it's called "water recreation" park, but don't think you'll pull up to a lake side resort. This land was donated by the Beymers and is now maintained by the county. It's self pay, $10.00 per night. There is no one here but us on a Monday night in the fall. We decided to give it a try because the reviews for RV parks in Garden City and Dodge City are just mediocre. I'm glad we did. The price is right! It was a nice stop after a long day. We stayed in a 43ft 5th wheel and there's plenty of room to maneuver.
Grassy spots are flat with a picnic table, grill and shelter. Some trees so there is some shade. Has 20 and 30 amp power and water at each site. ATT signal good. Shower was good but toilet stalls have no doors. Plenty of flies on our stay. Only $10.
