We stay here every spring and fall. We live in Anchorage and love to get away even to this near by park. The park is impeccably clean. While they have a couple long term renters, the rules are such that the sites are kept neat with no outside 'junk' left outside. There are no trees so if you're looking for wilderness this place it not for you. Instead, you will find well-kept grounds, clean showers, laundry and friendly office folks.

I highly recommend this park. The staff is friendly and very helpful. They know the area and will help you find what you need....I needed someone to walk my dogs while we were on a LONG day trip to Seward - and they assisted me with Dog Day care - even provided options. Laundry is big and clean. Showers and restrooms available if needed. Reasonably priced. Military discount. Some long term residents, but they did not detract from the park. We stayed in a "super site" and it was nice and large and not too close to the neighbors. (by Alaska standards, it was great!!). FHU. Decent Wi-fi. We traveled to Anchorage (45 min) and Seward (3 hours) from here. This area is beautiful. The weekend market in Anchorage is great. Being close to shopping was very nice. We were able to re-stock everything right in Wasilla. The Palmer down town and visitor center is a fun little area to visit.

Very well maintained, clean restrooms and laundry room. Cute cabins and I thought the views were great. We were able to get TV on our antennae. WiFi worked well. Very quiet.

I agree with others, sites are kinda small, wi/fi is good for email checking and that's about it, no TV at least all I got was two Mexican channels. $32 a night after discount. We will do Walmart next time.

This is an excellent campground we would recommend to anyone staying in the Anchorage area. The campground is extremely well-maintained. The laundromat is the best we have seen in Alaska (we've been here for 8 weeks). The staff is very friendly and helpful. We were here because of truck problems and the staff made sure we had a place to stay even though we kept extending. I really can't say enough about this campground. The buildings, picnic tables, etc. were freshly painted, the grass was mowed and the fire pits were cleaned. Plus, Wasilla is just down the road for shopping, restaurants, etc.

| Nicest in area

Nice campground. Nicely maintained showers, bathrooms, laundry rooms. Propane refills available on site. Playground for kids. Sites are quite narrow. Not horribly conducive for slide outs. I have stayed here several times, and will stay here again. Nicest place in the area.
